The Fabrication Process Engineer Manager is responsible for leading the Process Engineering team to ensure that all processes are developed and performed based on standard work that guarantees:

- Support automation systems for steelmaking, casting, and rolling mill operations
- Design, develop, and implement control systems (hardware and software)
- Troubleshoot and improve PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation)
- Analyze production processes from scrap melting through finished product
- Develop performance metrics and connect plant control systems with business systems
- Provide ongoing maintenance support and see automation projects through completion
- Assist with project management and provide on-call support as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent)
- 2–4 years of experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, drives, and HMI systems
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
