About the Role

Role Description

Leadership and GTM
- Guide the Part-Time PM: Work in partnership with the existing Product Manager to ensure tactical execution, including the launch of the Whissle App v1 and successful paid pilot programs.
- Market Leadership: Analyze competitor activities (e.g., turn-based systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) and use these insights to solidify Whissle's differentiated market positioning.
Qualifications
- 10+ Years of Product Leadership experience, with a proven track record of bringing highly technical B2B/Enterprise products to market.
- Deep Technical Expertise in AI/ML, particularly in the areas of speech, language processing, signal processing, or multi-modal AI.
- Exceptional Strategic Planning skills, with prior experience scaling a product which needs real-time intelligence, broad technology skills and experience.
- Strong Business Acumen in SaaS, enterprise licensing, and API revenue models.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a strong plus (especially given the team's academic background).

Job Description
The Construction Project Manager will oversee planning, design, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration and management for construction projects large and small for the Northern California portfolio. The Construction Project Manager ensures completion of projects within budget, on schedule, while meeting all program objectives and appropriate governmental regulations. The Construction Project Manager acts as a liaison between the client/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside jurisdictional agencies. Construction Project Manager will manage these projects from start to completion, with full budgetary and schedule responsibility. Other responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also external jurisdictional criteria for health and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
- Implements quality control measures to ensure project compliance with department, company policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.
- Maintains communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions.
- Manages the process of furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing, and installation.
- Manages the review and approval process to ensure appropriate approvals of all design work from schematic studies through final construction documents and related field changes and changes in scope; as well as approval for conceptual and detailed projects budgets.
- Manages the selection process and contract negotiations for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepares and maintains accurate, coherent, timely, and auditable project records/files, and cost estimates with department procedures; and ensures that space inventory reports are complete.
- Provides leadership, and supervision to assigned consultants.
- Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as department representative on committees and professional organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of general contractor or project management related experience in an architectural or general contractor firm focused on office tenant construction projects.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Knowledge of CAD system, CAFM, estimating, cost control, scheduling, construction administration, quality control, specification writing, and space planning
- Experience with OSHPD and TJC requirements.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
- Strong analytical skills to create, update, and analyze detailed budget and cash flow reports are required.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to complete projects timely and with high quality – we need a Construction Project Manager with excellent follow through!
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize as necessary and leverage resources throughout the organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree is required. In Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.

Position Summary:
The Sr. Air Quality Engineer/Scientist (Environmental Permitting and Compliance) performs professional engineering work, leading and executing the compliance and permitting functions in relation to Air Quality Regulations and Compliance. This candidate will be reviewing processes and equipment, analyzing permit-related technical and regulatory issues, and communicating those analyses within Yorke, the client organization, with government agencies and with the public at large. The work is challenging, broad in scope, and variable from project to project. The position involves effective communication, decision-making, and time management. The candidate performs other duties as required or assigned.
This is a Senior level position. Positions at this level are assigned to perform the more complex and sensitive duties in the occupational field. The employee in this position may be assigned to train and mentor other employees and/or monitor work produced by other employees.
The candidate's experience and qualifications we are seeking include:
- 10-20+ years of work experience in the Air Quality and/or Environmental industry in an engineering role (preferably in a consulting environment);
- Experience in the environmental services industry focusing on leading Air Quality services:
- Process and equipment review;
- Air quality permitting under BAAQMD, SCAQMD, SJVAPCD and other Air Districts, including Title V Permitting;
- RECLAIM implementation and reporting;
- Annual Emissions Reporting;
- Air Dispersion Modeling;
- Air Quality Assessments including Data Analysis and Emission Inventories;
- General Air Quality Compliance for facilities in CA.
- Ability to manage and lead active team members on project teams towards project completion within project scope, budget and schedule and ensure quality work product and deliverables;
- Ability to manage successful relationships with clients, staff, and regulators through effective communication and expertise by fostering a collaborative environment without losing focus of quality;
- Proven track record or desire to engage in successful regulatory work in dealing with the SCAQMD, BAAQMD, SJVAPCD, EPA, CARB and/or other similar regulatory agencies;
- Experience working on-site at client facilities;
- Prepare reports and submissions in timely manner;
- Experience with handling highly technical data and technical data interpretation;
- Highly motivated to continue working in Air Quality environmental field and expand their knowledge and experience;
- CA Regulatory/Compliance experience is required.
