Responsibilities:
- Ensure all design control activities for new and updated products meet company procedures and global regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk management activities, including hazard analysis, FMEAs, and risk documentation.
- Support sterilization and biocompatibility assessments.
- Own and maintain design control documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of quality engineering experience in medical devices, including new product launches.
- Experience with sterilization and biocompatability
- Strong knowledge of design controls, risk management, and medical device regulations (FDA, ISO, IEC).
- Experience with verification & validation (V&V) and FMEAs.
- Strong problem-solving and statistical analysis skills (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities ● Drive execution of roadmap initiatives within one or more product areas (Network Services, Developer Platform, Applications & Tools, Partner Solutions) ● Translate strategy and technical requirements into actionable product specs, milestones, and deliverables ● Partner closely with engineering and design to ensure quality and alignment from concept to release ● Define and track success metrics tied to reliability, usability, adoption, and scale ● Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams to inform priorities ● Collaborate with program management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery ● Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, and progress clearly across teams and leadership Qualifications ● 5–10 years of product management experience in a technical domain (connectivity, developer tools, IoT, or platform infrastructure) ● Proven ability to drive execution and ship products in cross-functional environments ● Strong technical fluency; comfort engaging with engineers across hardware, software, embedded and cloud systems ● Experience writing product specs, defining roadmaps, and aligning diverse teams ● Customer-first mindset; proven ability to connect user pain points to technical solutions ● Excellent organizational and communication skills; thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced settings ● Comfortable operating in early-stage start-up environments ● Entergetic, Hands-on, and resourceful Candidate Must-Haves U.S.

Job Details About the Role The team is building out its core engineering group in San Francisco and hiring a Senior Back-End Engineer (Golang) to take ownership of their existing backend systems and drive them to production readiness.
You’ll be the first in-house backend hire, giving you both immediate technical impact and long-term leadership potential as the team scales.
What You’ll Do: Take ownership of an existing Golang codebase and evolve it toward production scalability.
Architect, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Build and refine CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Design and develop APIs and backend features that directly affect users’ health journeys.
Collaborate closely with engineering leadership and product teams to shape technical direction.
Champion reliability, performance, and code quality across the backend stack.
What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years with Golang.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD (Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Proven success taking products from development to production.
