The Solution Expert is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing and implementing high-quality solutions on client engagements (sales and project delivery) while applying Radix practice standards and methods.
Reporting to the Practice Leader, this role will support the sales process and execute project work within the relevant practice domain, contributing to successful sale and delivery outcomes through strong technical execution, structured problem solving, and disciplined documentation. Solution Experts collaborate closely across the organization including sales, marketing and industry client teams, Program/Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, robust, and aligned with client needs and delivery constraints.
The Solution Engineer should support pursuits selectively by contributing technical input, demos, or solution shaping under the direction of Technical Sales and the Practice Leader. This role will be measured with a set of influence metrics regarding deal expansion, competitive differentiation and client expansion.
This role is a dual role in defining and shaping key domain expertise in the form of sales playbooks, methodologies, deliver training, while being a key partner with sales and account teams in influencing and expanding opportunities at clients through technical consultation and proposals.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on solution work on client engagements (sales and project delivery), producing high-quality outputs aligned to scope, standards, and timeline expectations.
- Translate requirements into practical solution designs and implementation tasks, balancing technical quality with delivery constraints.
- Build, configure, integrate, or implement solutions within the practice domain, following Radix engineering and delivery standards.
- Develop collateral shaping the Radix differentiated point-of-view on their domain expertise. This collateral will include methodologies, white papers, solution architectures.
- Will develop and deliver training for sales and account teams to be able to shape and qualify opportunities within the domain expertise.
- Apply practice methods, templates, and reference patterns, ensuring consistency and repeatability across engagements.
- Participate in defined quality reviews (e.g., design reviews), incorporating feedback to improve solution robustness and delivery outcomes.
- Maintain disciplined documentation of solution decisions, assumptions, and implementation details to support maintainability and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members (delivery, practice SMEs, technical sales) to resolve issues and unblock progress.
- Support knowledge sharing by contributing lessons learned, reusable snippets, templates, or minor accelerators to the practice library.
- Support proposal and pursuit activities selectively (as requested) by providing technical inputs, estimation support, or demo preparation in coordination with Technical Sales and the Practice Leader.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in engineering, automation/OT, digital delivery, software/data engineering, or complex B2B solution environments (as applicable to the practice).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering solutions in project environments, with strong execution discipline.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear tasks, decisions, and deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (engineering, computer science, industrial technology, or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in asset-intensive or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and delivery governance disciplines.

Reporting Lines
This position reports to the Practice Leader.
ROLE-SPECIFIC ADDENDUM
Solution Expert is an individual contributor reporting to the Practice Leader, responsible for establishing Radix as the leading authority in resilience-driven supply chain transformation for asset-intensive industries. This role combines deep technical expertise in Digital Twin/ Control Tower architecture, industrial data platforms, OT/IT integration, and real-time analytics with strong supply chain domain knowledge and business development capability. The objective is to enable Radix’s industry teams to win larger, more strategic engagements through differentiated positioning.
A solutions engineer with deep understanding of supply chain operations in asset-intensive environments, comfortable whiteboarding API integration patterns with IT architects and framing resilience business cases with VP Operations. Must have hands-on experience building or configuring industrial data platforms, not just advising on strategy. Success requires influencing without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
Industry Experience
- Develop industry-specific points of view on resilience-first supply chain transformation.
- Architect integrated asset and supply chain intelligence solutions using platforms such as Cognite CDF.
- Create reusable methodologies for Digital Twin/ Control Tower readiness assessment and fragility mapping.
- Participate selectively in high-value pursuits where combined technical and functional expertise provides competitive differentiation.
Technical Focus
- 3-7 years in supply chain within asset-intensive industries (Energy preferred; Manufacturing or Infrastructure acceptable).
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with industrial IoT platforms and Digital Twin/ Control Tower technologies (e.g., Cognite CDF, OSIsoft PI, Aveva, AWS IoT, Azure Digital Twin/ Control Towers).
- Ability to design data integration patterns connecting OT systems (SCADA, DCS, historians) with IT systems (ERP, WMS, TMS).
Success Profile for This Assignment

Skills and Qualifications

3. In-depth knowledge of U.S. civil engineering codes and standards (IBC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM) and familiarity with local building regulations in Texas (or willingness to learn state-specific requirements).

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance mechanics and electricians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, partners with Production to minimize downtime, and ensures compliance with OSHA standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team of Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair.
