Safety Director

The Safety Director leads safety efforts across all regions and works closely with Plant Managers, Trade Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, Project Management and other partners to develop and execute strategic initiatives. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:

Leadership

  • Monitors manufacturing activities to verify safety adherence across operations.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field required


Experience:

  • 10 years of safety management experience required

Benefits and Compensation:

  • The range for this position has been established at $121K to $170K per year and is U.S. Engineering Metalwork's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
  • Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience designing mechanical systems for data centers, telecom, or industrial power/cooling products.
* Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
* Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to data center infrastructure.
* Hands-on experience with prototype fabrication and testing; Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers a plus
