Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emissions / VRU / Flare Technician to support field operations across production facilities in the Permian Basin. This role is responsible for monitoring, measuring, documenting, and mitigating air emissions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company environmental standards.
This is a field-intensive position requiring daily travel to tank batteries, compressor stations, and processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine emissions monitoring at tank batteries, compressor stations, and production facilities
- Perform LDAR repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Inspect and monitor:
- Thief hatches
- Pressure relief valves
- Pneumatic controllers
- Vapor Recovery Units (VRUs)
- Flares and combustors
- Quantify emissions using portable analyzers and approved methodologies
- Document findings accurately in company data management systems
- Initiate work orders for equipment requiring repair and verify corrective actions
- Support regulatory reporting and maintain environmental compliance records
- Assist operations teams in identifying emission reduction opportunities
- Maintain calibration and proper function of monitoring and detection equipment
Regulatory & Compliance Requirements

Caturus, LLC, is an integrated natural gas and LNG company focused on responsible sourcing of low-emission fuel to domestic and international markets. Commonwealth LNG is developing a 9.5 Mtpa liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal project located near Cameron, Louisiana. The Inspector, Environmental is responsible for overseeing compliance with all local, state, and federal permits and authorizations including conditions from the FERC application, Orders, and Environmental Impact Statements throughout construction of the project. The inspector shall have peer status with other Company and construction contractor Supervisors.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct daily field inspections and surveys to assess compliance with FERC and environmental regulations, focusing on erosion control, wildlife interactions, debris management, dust control, and roadway maintenance.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all mitigation measures required by the Order and other grants, permits, certificates, or other authorizing documents.
- Responsible for evaluating the construction contractor’s implementation of the environmental mitigation measures required in the contract and any other authorizing documents.
- Empowered to order correction of acts that violate the environmental conditions of the Order, and any other authorizing document.
- Responsible for documenting compliance with the environmental conditions of the Order, as well as any environmental conditions/permit requirements imposed by other federal, state, or local agencies.
- Responsible for maintaining status reports.
- Monitor and document environmental compliance, preparing detailed daily inspection reports with written and photographic evidence.
- Conduct environmental sampling, including hydrostatic test water and soil.
- Review and understand permits and authorizations and other key project documents, providing critical assessments and guidance on environmental compliance.
- Provide input and guidance for spill response and cleanup activities.
- Evaluate restoration activities and ensure proper implementation of mitigation and best management practices.
- Serve as a resource for ensuring compliance with environmental permits.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Manager, contractors, site management, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to address compliance issues and maintain adherence to permit conditions.
- Support, deliver, or oversee environmental training for all construction personnel on site, as required by the FERC Order.
- Participate in project and construction meetings to provide updates and recommendations.
- Support variance requests for environmental permits through thorough documentation and analysis.
- Stay informed on relevant environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Assemble and present environmental compliance reports information for management.

Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, however a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from a credited University is preferred.
- Completion of FERC’s Environmental Training Seminar is required.
Experience:
- 5 plus years of experience as a FERC Environmental Inspector is required.
- LNG Facility construction experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a high degree of dealing with Company and Contractor employees across all backgrounds (craftsmen, laborers, supervisors, management, etc) building and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Must be able to communicate, coach, and enforce compliance in difficult situations while maintaining efficient and productive relationships.
- Remain posted and up to date on all current and future changes to regulations regarding the oil and gas industry.
- Must be able to conduct thorough investigations, inspections, and facilitate resolution of problem areas in order to prevent non-compliance issues from arising.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Highlights • The pay for this position is $57.80 per hour.
• Full-time schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM • Onsite position in Houston, TX • This position is a contract role with potential for extension Responsibilities • Perform Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.

• Extensive experience in quality control operations in a Food, Biotech, high-tech industries, probiotics or Feed manufacturing industry is required
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental codes, OSHA, EPA regulations, and other regulatory agencies (Lockout-Tagout, Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, Air Quality and Emissions, Energy Management, etc.).
• Experience with behavior-based safety preferred (DuPont STOP).
• Background and expertise in HSE recordkeeping, reporting and compliance.
• Ability to work well under pressure, effectively handle conflict and demonstrate flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.
• Experience and working knowledge of U.S. and Pennsylvania occupational health, safety and environmental regulations is preferred.
SUMMARY
Develop and maintain high quality client relations through sales, project management and personnel management. Ensure that air quality and multimedia projects are completed correctly, on time and budget, and that quality projects are made available for the assigned team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor, verify, and ensure the technical accuracy and quality of project related work.
- Guide staff in manner that allows for efficient progress and timely completion of consulting projects within the established budget.
- Coordinate efforts of project team to ensure timely completion of project, invoicing review, and maintaining project budgets.
- Maintain business development relationships through sales calls and professional networking.
- Promote client stewardship by being attentive to the needs of existing clients and by encouraging consultant staff to look for business opportunities with clients.

Directly supervises 1-3 employees in Environmental Consulting. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, and or related Atmospheric/Environmental Science from four-year college or university; and at least two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge relating to permit applicability, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements. Multimedia (waste and water) permitting and compliance are preferred.
Must have computer literacy, including basic programming word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft office software package.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY

The Environmental Manager is accountable to identify, develop implement and maintain site environmental policies and procedures to ensure environmental compliance with current and pending local, state, and federal regulations.
About the Role
Site management team member accountable for all aspects environmental compliance internally and externally. Acts as the plant liaison to local, state and federal agencies. Subject matter expert and accountable party on environmental matters for site and regional management. Leads manufacturing and process improvement initiatives related to the environment ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees and the community. Works to achieve and build an engaged workforce driven to self-directed ownership of environmental processes that achieve the short and long term strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements via the completion of required government and internal reports (including Form R, Tier II, Emission Statement, Semi-annual & annual reports, Biennial waste reporting), training of personnel, development of operating procedures and equipment requirements, "management of change" review, and auditing.
- Identifying regulatory requirements and develop courses of action to ensure both our future compliance and our flexibility to operate profitably.
- Provide plant leadership for the continuous improvement of the ISO 14001 EMS.
- Coordinates identification of environmental aspects, evaluation of significance of environmental aspects, and establishment of environmental objectives and targets.
- Coordinates establishment and implementation of management programs to achieve objectives and targets.
- Project management on facility or operational modifications as assigned.
- Support project engineers on the environmental impact of capital projects.
- Represents the Wallingford Plant in areas where environmental concerns internally and externally to local, state and federal agencies.
- Work with local management to ensure a common understanding of environmental compliance issues and lead in their compliance efforts.
- Schedule and coordinate hazardous waste material bulk loads, drum loads and lab pack pick-ups using approved waste haulers and ensure required paperwork meets state and federal regulations.
- Make positive change regarding plant's processes, including; Environmental training procedures; Plant Standard Operating Procedures; the EMS system, Environmental audits and waste minimization.
- Participate or lead in team investigations of all major incidents. Ensure appropriate root cause(s) and corrective actions are identified and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report plant emissions and discharges.
- Monitor and troubleshoot plant pollution abatement and controls equipment and devices.
- Comply with the Title V air permit including emission testing and LDAR.
- Sample wastewater discharge and complete monthly DMR report.
- Ensure the site meet the requirements of the site owner's NPDES permit.
- Acts as backup to plant ES&S Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or environmental sciences.
- 10+ years of experience in both Environmental Management and Process Engineering.
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- The ability to present information to senior management and government regulators.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable EHSS laws and regulations/programs through continuing education seminars/courses.
- Provide positive, proactive leadership with regard to concern by plant employees for the safety and health of their coworkers.
- Identify/coordinate/complete environmental and improvement projects.
- Complete Leak Detection and Repair program weekly, monthly, and annual requirements (involves use of FID with calibration).
