The Emerging Accounts Specialist (EAS) serves as SMN’s account representative for longtail vendor and agency partners. You will own a portfolio of emerging accounts, prospect and qualify new opportunities at scale, and collaborate across media planning, account management, ad operations, and Merchandising to activate campaigns and drive incremental revenue. Success in this role requires strong client services, data-driven media planning, and the ability to balance vendor-funded programs with Staples-first business priorities to deliver an innovative, best-in-class customer experience

What you’ll be doing:Β 

  • Account portfolio management: Manage and grow a portfolio of longtail vendor and agency accounts; build trust, deliver value, and deepen multi-threaded relationships.
  • Pipeline generation: Prospect, qualify, and nurture leads at scale; convert prospects to opportunities and move deals through defined SMN sales stages.
  • Campaign activation: Partner with self-service tech/platform providers and Ad Ops to troubleshoot, activate, and monitor campaigns; ensure insertion order and trafficking readiness and on-time launches.

  • Financial rigor: Maintain a pulse on financial reporting for assigned accounts; forecast, track actuals, identify revenue/margin gaps, and escalate risks/opportunities to leadership.
  • Program/process stewardship: Evangelize SMN’s self-service platforms and operating playbooks; document repeatable processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Communications: Develop clear, impactful updates (weekly pipeline summaries, monthly vendor/agency readouts, and quarterly business reviews) highlighting progress, insights, and next steps.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:Β 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of progressively complex experience in one or more: ecommerce, digital advertising/retail media, media planning, account management, sales development/SDR, client services, or ad operations
  • 3+ years managing client relationships and delivering against revenue or pipeline targets in ecommerce, digital advertising, or media sales.
  • Demonstrated lead prospecting & qualification at scale (e.g., consistent weekly outreach cadence and conversion from MQL to SQL/opportunity).

The University of California, Berkeley Library seeks an innovative and collaborative Metadata Strategies Librarian to improve and transform the discovery of library resources by evaluating and implementing new and emerging workflows, standards, and technologies.

The Metadata Services department is part of the Collection Services Division (CSD), along with the Acquisitions department and the Preservation department. Metadata Services supports resource discovery and access by cataloging and physically processing library resources in all formats and languages (except Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) for the University (Main) Library and subject specialty libraries. The department also performs database maintenance to ensure accurate metadata and enhance resource discoverability.



Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Metadata Services, the Metadata Strategies Librarian will help lead efforts to implement new metadata initiatives and maximize the use of technology and emerging standards to foster workflow efficiency and innovation. This position will develop and contribute to policies, standards, and services that enhance the discoverability of the Library's resources. The librarian will also support the Library's participation in the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC).



Key responsibilities include:




  • Collaborates on the development and implementation of new metadata policies and workflows, such as linked data, to enhance access and discovery to the Library's collections.
  • Evaluates and implements emerging applications, such as artificial intelligence, and metadata standards with the goal of continually improving metadata quality and fostering workflow efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities: Emergency physicians shall provide immediate medical evaluation, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of patients who present for care in the ED.

"Present for care" includes patients referred to the Emergency Department by other medical providers in the VA Healthcare Facility system (such as outpatient clinics, outlying clinics, ED Fast track, inpatient, etc.).

The ED physician shall provide professional advice to other VA providers with regard to professional management of patients being treated and/or hospitalized.

The Contractor physician shall be a resource for contract providers and manage patients in the fast track portion of the Emergency Department as well.

The Contractor physician care shall cover the range of emergency room care typically provided in an urban civilian practice of similar size.

The following list is an example of the types of cases, but is not all-inclusive: Major trauma, including fractures of multiple extremities, stab wounds, open wounds of the chest and abdomen, head trauma, suspected spine injuries, lacerations, amputations Major medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, respiratory failure, shock Obstetrical emergencies such as deliveries of single or multiple births, acute pregnancy complications, vaginal bleeding; Our Labor and Delivery Unit is on Long Term Divert.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure construction projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role collaborates closely with project managers, preconstruction managers, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate timelines, monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule Development & Planning

  • Develop detailed baseline schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software, covering all project phases from RFP/Project Launch through Substantial Completion and Final Turnover.
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define project activities, durations, and sequencing.
  • Establish logic-driven critical path (CPM) and identify schedule constraints.
  • Resource load schedules with quantities, labor, and cost data when required.
  • Prepare schedule narratives documenting assumptions and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction managers, field teams and estimators during both preconstruction and construction phases.


Schedule Monitoring & Control

  • Conduct site visits to assess and document construction progress.
  • Update schedules regularly to reflect actual progress.
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify variances.
  • Develop recovery schedules when delays occur.
  • Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to assess the effects of change orders and scope modifications.


Means & Methods

  • Define construction means and methods required to achieve schedule objectives.
  • Develop site logistics and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans in 2D or 3D formats.


Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and distribute schedule reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Present schedule status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Provide scheduling input for executive reports and owner meetings.
  • Maintain documentation to support claims and delay analyses when required.


Risk Management

  • Identify schedule-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct what-if scenario analysis to evaluate alternative approaches.
  • Support dispute resolution efforts through detailed time impact analysis.


Collaboration

  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Support resource planning and labor forecasting efforts.
  • Ensure alignment between field operations and master project schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).


Experience

  • 3 to 7+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls preferably within the US, South Florida or the Caribbean.
  • Experience on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or residential projects.


Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing means and methods.
  • Solid knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Familiarity with cost control, earned value management (EVM) principles
  • Ability to use construction resources data to validate productivity rates and activity durations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel), Power BI, Bluebeam is a must.
  • Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, cmBuilder and Synchro 4D.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Ability to perform quick quantity take-offs for scheduling purposes.
