The Manager, Processing, will be primarily accountable for the daily management and execution of all milk-receiving and processing areas. This critical role will be responsible for achieving annual operational goals across key metrics, including safety, cost, quality, material yields, and capital projects. The Manager will provide strong guidance to optimize processing, manage daily operations, recommend manufacturing improvements, and will be specifically responsible for raw material management and the execution of the plant savings plan to enhance financial performance. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Enforce and apply all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules, including participation in risk assessments and coordinating root cause analysis for safety events.
- Ensure strict compliance with government standards (FDA, OSHA) and regulatory requirements (Good Manufacturing Practices, FSSC22000).
- Maintain and enforce hygiene and food safety rules, coordinate deviation root cause analysis, and ensure proper sampling and control practices are followed.
- Execute quality assurance programs to prevent product defects and direct process adjustments to maintain conformance with quality standards.
- Ensure the consolidation and reliability of the Mass Balance for accurate material accounting and monitor analytical equipment reliability.
- Optimize technical and financial performance of the department, partnering with the Manager and contributing to the budget process.

- Complete and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) files and reports covering production volume, yields, quality, and efficiency.

- Manage staff administrative functions (e.g., approving time records) and manage relationships with outside vendors, while also leading root cause analysis for downtime prevention.
- The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Processing Supervisors & Assistant Manager in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Summary: CS Sunshine Holdings is looking for a Lean Engineer to implement and drive lean manufacturing initiatives across our U.S. manufacturing facilities. The role will emphasize shop-floor engagement, building operational capabilities, and sustaining continuous improvement across production and support teams. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to identify waste, improve flow, stabilize processes, and embed a Lean culture within the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as a hands-on Lean practitioner on the production floor, supporting daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
- Coach operators, supervisors, and engineers on Lean fundamentals, problem-solving methods, and standard work.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and value stream mapping activities.
- Identify waste and process gaps in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale (SQDCM), and drive countermeasures.
- Develop, implement, and sustain standard work, visual management, and 5S systems.
- Support line balancing, cycle time analysis, takt time alignment, and material flow optimization.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools (A3, PDCA, 5-Why, Fishbone) to address chronic issues.

- Perform material receipt function(s) in Syspro/Datascope.
- Perform cycle counting daily and investigate variances as required.
- Rectify any discrepancies with physical goods and paperwork.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of put-away locations in facility, using system reporting.
- Ensure proper rotation of product lot numbers (FIFO), using system reporting.
- Work with Purchasing, Production and Shipping/Receiving to resolve issues.
- Coordinate rework of expiring and obsolete items where required.

- Design, refine, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, infrared scans, lubrication standards, and oil analysis.

About You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, degree in engineering, business, food science, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of operational and management experience within a food production environment.
- Experience with UHT (Ultra High Temperature) processing preferred.
- Familiarity with core plant equipment and systems, including pumps, hydraulics, electrical systems, boilers, compressors, and chillers.
- Prior experience in consumer packaging preferred.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of food technology and related principles.

- Provides execution strategy and conducts final project negotiations; ensures project schedule baseline is approved prior to project commencement

These are the skills you'll need
- Bachelor's from an accredited institution in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in a project engineering role
- 3 years overseeing projects in the grain handling industry is strongly preferred
- Expereince with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required
- 3D Mechanical and Architect preferred
- SAP exerpience is preferred
- Experience with Gantt charts is preferred
- PMI certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills required

Execute packaging operations according to approved documentation and SOPs.
Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot issues during packaging processes.
Perform equipment cleaning, change parts, and line clearance activities.
Complete required documentation, including room and equipment logbooks, batch records, and verification checks.
Stage and transfer packaging materials and bulk products as needed.
Verify packaging components and bulk product against batch records and protocols.
Stack finished goods cases on pallets, shrink-wrap pallets, and transfer to warehouse.
Operate palletizer and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
Remove unused or discarded materials to designated warehouse or recycling areas.
Ensure compliance with company policies, cGMP, DEA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
Demonstrate urgency for quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Train and mentor other Material Handlers and Packaging Operators as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Skilled in responding to equipment alarms, faults, and error messages, with the ability to assess potential product impact.

Responsible for performing the activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
- Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes. Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
