We are seeking a talented individual to support new product development for high current and voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center products. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating CAD drawings from engineering sketches or notes, suggesting design improvements for manufacturability, ensuring drawings meet project standards, and maintaining ECN/ECR documentation following established procedures. This position involves working closely with engineers and peers to exchange and present information, while reporting to the local Development Engineering Manager. The role also includes overseeing the application, conception, creation, release, and support for industrial power control products, ensuring they meet company and industry standards for quality, safety, and reliability, all while optimizing cost and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CAD drawings and collaborate with a team on design activities.
• Participate in new product development for high current and voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center products.
• Ensure all drawings meet project standards and maintain ECN/ECR documentation.
• Work with engineers and project managers to present and exchange information.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical CAD software (CREO, Pro/E, AutoCAD) design experience.
• Proficient in manipulating large assemblies (>200 components).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience with power distribution equipment for 240-690V AC systems.
• Pro-E CAD modeling experience.
• SAP software experience.
• A working knowledge of production part processes: sheet-metal, plastic forming, and machining manufacturing methods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modify and improve critical components and program PLC for draw down process upgrades.
• Collaborate with the manifold team to assist with design, programming, and fabrication of CNC-milled components for diffusion bonding.
• Study the existing products to gain an understanding of how Arcmed supports industry.
• Work with internal stakeholders to determine areas of improvement.
• Merge the functional intent of the product with various upgrades to create a project proposal.
• Drive project proposal to a Go/No-Go decision.
• Deliver final presentation to Board of Directors outlining project efforts, results, and lessons learned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, and TRAININGS

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program.
• Engineering degree, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Recommended to be a Junior or Senior with experience in Product Design and Manufacturing.
• Interpersonal skills.

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

• Microsoft: Office 365; SharePoint; Teams; Visio; and OneNote preferred.
• Experience with CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
• Ability to operate media equipment such as tablets, smartphones, and other electronic equipment.
• Ability to work with general office equipment.
• Ability to work with and understand databases is a must, and the ability to learn technical skills.

The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach regular and Summer Session courses, should an opening arise. In addition to classroom/laboratory teaching and preparation, general duties may include (but are not limited to) managing and mentoring graders and/or graduate student instructors (teaching assistants), holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.

We are also seeking applicants for hourly Teacher Special Programs (TSP), should an opening arise. The TSP instructor's principal responsibility will be overseeing capstone projects in the Master of Engineering (MEng) program of the Nuclear Engineering Department. This will include the following tasks: Designing and proposing capstone projects. Helping match students into suitable projects. Meeting with each capstone project team on a regular basis to review results, manage interpersonal aspects, and maintain efficient progress. Provide critical, constructive feedback on students' written reports and oral presentations. Coordinating and participating in the MS Plan II exam of each student at the end of the capstone project period.

The School of Aerospace Engineering ( ) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Typically reporting to the School Chair, the Professor is a tenured/tenure-track faculty member who performs a combination of teaching, research, and service. Professors may hold administrative appointments as long as the majority of their time is dedicated to teaching, research, and service. • Assist plants in problem solving common process issues and engage Central resources as needed.
• Recommend process modifications and ensure alignment with overall process strategy.
• Lead the qualification of process prototypes within the assigned zone on behalf of the Central Methods team.
• Drive the plant's process strategy and manage the Process Improvement roadmap.
• Contribute to the value stream mapping 3 year (VSM3Y) preparation activities and actively participate in related events.
• Maintain process mapping and performance databases for the zone and support industrial project startups.
• Develop, deploy, and share benchmarks, results, and findings through Central systems.
• Support the CAPEX Project Manager in developing industrial projects using established process design standards and methods.
• Identify needed updates to process standards, circulate approved standards, validate best practices for broader adoption, maintain expertise mapping, develop training materials, strengthen technical competencies, and ensure certification of key functions.
