Compensation - In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives and equity. To determine the specific salary offered for this role, we consider industry salary ranges, existing salary structures for this job family, background, skill and experience. GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role assists with recruitment coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, HR records management, and general administrative duties to ensure HR programs and processes are executed accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Support administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and premium payments; generate COBRA notices and manage monthly billing.
2. Complete and maintain Forms I-9 (active and inactive) and ensure E-Verify compliance.
3. Review and verify benefits statements for accuracy.
4. Supports the administration of performance reviews and annual open enrollment.
5. Assist with recruitment by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews with hiring managers, and providing administrative support throughout the hiring process.
6. Conduct new hire orientation and support onboarding, including HRIS data entry.
7. Maintain HR files, personnel records, and HRIS database to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
8. Support HR events, training sessions, and special projects as assigned.
9. Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, mailing, document distribution, scheduling, meeting minutes, and maintaining HR forms and training materials.
10. Process checks requests, invoices, and purchasing through Concur.
11. Serve as backup to front office reception and manage HR inbox and tickler files.
12. Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP (reports directly to): HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Select only one under each category):

Education/Technical Knowledge:

One year of college, business, technical or specialized schooling or accredited apprentice training to have knowledge or technical or vocation theory and principles.

Additional Skills Needed:

1. Experience in HR administration or coordination preferred.
2. Familiarity with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
3. Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
4. High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience.

• Estimated pay range for this position is $32.60 - $42.38 / hour depending on experience.

• Additional Qualifications:

  • If Associate's Degree in Medical Technology or related science as required by the State of Florida, a minimum of two years medical technologist experience at BHSF and fulfilling appropriate career advancement/packet criteria required.
  • All candidates require a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in appropriate discipline(s) with complete knowledge of medical technology theory and practice.
  • Certain entities (BOS) will require BLS certification.
