Interim Clinical Manager oversees the daily operations of the 31 bed Emergency Room, ensuring efficient patient care and staff coordination. You will assist in managing the budgets, implementing policies, and maintaining quality standards while addressing emergent situations. Supervising clinical staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance regulations will be executed daily. The interim Clinical manager role consists of 40 hrs per week, with a flexible schedule / work-life balance.

What we're looking for

Position/Job Title: Safety/Training Coordinator

Position Summary

This position reports to the Safety/Risk Director. The Safety/Training Coordinator is part of the Safety Team and works to ensure that the company’s operations are carried out safely and in compliance with all health and safety regulations and laws.

This role also supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the 5S workplace organization methodology across the fabrication shop, maintenance shop, warehouse, and yard operations. The Safety/Training Coordinator will assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and auditing of 5S standards to improve organization, efficiency, safety, and overall operational effectiveness. The position will support the Safety/Risk Director with implementation efforts and will assist with conducting periodic audits to ensure ongoing adherence to established 5S standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the incident database and maintain an action log of open incident investigation corrective items. Compile and distribute monthly safety reports to senior management; distribute companywide incident bulletins and safety-related updates.

• Develop a variety of safety-related materials and compose routine correspondence such as memos, bulletins, and other communications while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

• Enter monthly safety-related statistics on various customer-secured websites including AEP, LG&E, First Energy, and Duke Energy.

• Provide safety information and updates to senior management, job superintendents, and department managers.

• Maintain training records by entering data into computer systems, updating files, and verifying the accuracy and completeness of training records.

• Assist with the coordination of training programs and seminars (such as CPR/First Aid, Level 2 Rigging) by scheduling outside trainers and tracking course completion.

• Oversee and administer various online training modules and ensure timely completion of assigned courses for all personnel.

• Assist with and track DOT audits of CDL drivers’ logbooks and quarterly reviews of Electronic On-Board Recorder discs to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.

• Assist with maintaining Driver Qualification files for all CDL drivers.

• Assist the Safety/Risk Director with the completion of assigned Nuclear NANTEL testing and maintain updated personnel records.

• Maintain, update, and distribute Safety Data Sheets (SDS) throughout the company.

• Assist the Safety/Risk Director with the development of new safety training materials as required.

• Track and monitor employee annual training requirements and ensure all personnel remain current.

• Maintain necessary safety-related supplies such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and distribute them to personnel as needed.

• Conduct research on pending safety-related regulations and apprise the Safety/Risk Director of any rule changes.

• Coordinate safety-related policy implementation as issued by current customer bases to ensure company compliance.

• Maintain safety training materials, including handouts and test instruments.

• Assist with the implementation, organization, and standardization of work areas using the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the fabrication shop, maintenance shop, warehouse, and yard areas.

• Support the Safety/Risk Director with developing, implementing, and maintaining 5S programs, procedures, and documentation within operational areas.

• Conduct periodic 5S audits and inspections to ensure work areas remain organized, compliant, and aligned with company safety and operational standards.

• Work collaboratively with shop personnel, supervisors, and operations leadership to identify improvement opportunities and reinforce 5S practices within daily operations.

• Assist in training employees on 5S concepts, workplace organization practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational efficiency and safety.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and secured web-based databases for data entry.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated “self-starter” who will apply strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills to implement innovative solutions to challenging design criteria. They will be involved in research efforts including initial concepts, advanced technology demonstrations, and will have the opportunity to follow product development from beginning to end, including documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of a range of microelectronics products. This position requires strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to maintain positive relationships & satisfaction with Program leadership (Engineering and Program Management). Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and materials and prior experience working with contract manufacturers (OSATs) is highly desired.

The role requires knowledge of high-density microelectronic packaging designs including Interposers, organic substrates, wafer and chip bumping and general knowledge in areas of electronic components/devices such as ASICs and FPGAs, design of electronic packaging chassis and structures, interconnects (connectors/cables), and thermal management design of high-density electronic systems and electronic enclosures. The successful candidate will have the ability to bring new and fresh ideas to the team, with opportunities to explore research and innovation areas in a collaborative and fun team environment. Additionally, the candidate is expected to follow established procedures in creation of technical data package work products, while working closely with program management and functional supervision to ensure the overall design objectives are met.

This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. • Designing RF structures and transitions on multi-layer, multi-channel RF Modules and analog circuitry enabling both receive and transmit behavior

• Consulting across RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams

• Develop patient care pathways, protocols and guidelines for the management of specific problems in conjunction with physicians and other members of the health care team.
• Analyze clinical practice patterns to provide the best medical care and to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicate verbally and in writing all pertinent patient information to supervising MD, nursing staff, patient resource manager, home health agency, hospice agency and other relevant healthcare providers.
• Document in the patients' medical record all relevant data including but not limited to results of diagnostic tests; laboratory results; patients' condition and response to therapies/interventions; communications with supervising MD.
• Implement a specific plan of palliative care to alleviate suffering and promote the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual comfort of the patient and family.
• Utilize prescriptive privileges only for identified patient population and in accordance with DUH and NC Board of Nursing/NC Medical Board regulations.
• Prescriptive authority for prescribing, ordering, and or administering drugs; including (but not limited to) schedule II, III, IV, and V drugs and necessary medical devices.
• Role model competence in all nurse practitioner / physician assistant advanced skills.

Job Eligibility Requirements

Education

NP: Graduate of accredited MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner program for adult care

PA: Graduate of ARC accredited Physician Assistant Program, Masters or DSc Degree preferred

Certification:

NP: Any NP certification that treats adults (FNP, ANP, AGNP, AGACNP, etc.)

PA: PA-C

Licensure

NP: Must have current RN licensure issued by or recognized by the NCBON with authorization to practice as NP

PA: Must have license to practice as PA issued by NCMB

Both: Federal and State DEA independent license/prescriptive authority

Experience

APP experience is not required, but 2+ years' experience as an APP, caring for seriously ill patients with psychiatric comorbidities is strongly preferred

Later rebuilding in 1978 to our new location in Clyde.
