Overview:
As a Product Owner in Affinity Solutions Technology (AST) you will lead a cross-functional agile team implementing technology solutions for Securian's Affinity Solutions and Securian Canada markets. AST teams demonstrate passion for delivering innovative solutions for clients, customers, and internal partners, driven by creative problem-solving skills, strong collaboration, and analytical abilities.
You need to be passionate about delivering business value through technology while remaining flexible to adapt to evolving and emerging needs. You will partner with stakeholders to define your team's strategy and roadmap, owning your team's prioritization and delivery. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Leverages emerging best practices and market trends to drive operational efficiencies and align technology strategies with business goals.

Effectively communicates product value through storytelling, connecting to business/customer impact and engages stakeholders in strategic decisions to optimize outcomes.
Cross functional understanding of how their work integrates with other business workstreams and initiatives.
Understands how to leverage team effectiveness metrics (e.g., velocity/cycle time) to drive value.
Contributes to strategic product decisions by incorporating total cost of ownership and providing input into operating budget planning.
Participates in governance meetings and communicates technical and business product status and progress with senior leaders.
Creates product delivery commitments such as service level agreements and BCM plans to support resiliency requirements.
Engages in product discovery efforts to identify strategic opportunities.

Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards; leads and provides guidance for project management for initiatives, ensuring business objectives are met and business benefits are delivered.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of agile practices. Understands the fundamentals of iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
Leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, guide the creation of a self-organizing team, being assertive with business priorities and opposing viewpoints while adhering to agile concepts and principles.

Role - Account Executive, Smart Building Solutions
As an Account Executive for Smart Building Solutions, youโll own a pipeline of target accounts and drive new customer acquisition in facilities and portfolio environments (owners/operators, FM providers, data center operators, and adjacent ecosystems). Youโll sell consultativelyโoften starting with a pilot and expanding into broader rollouts across sites.

- Participate in EVV governance, change-control and system enhancement discussions
- Understand barriers or root causes of why individuals are not compliant and drive remediation plans

Research Escalations and Support Communications
- Perform compliance-related research to answer questions or determine if an issue is non-compliant
- Support requests received by MassHealth/Program Integrity Team
- Support agencies and/or work in partnership with EVV Support
- Support state-led outreach and communications related to EVV compliance expectations
- Perform escalation follow-up for non-compliant individuals as necessary
- Oversee the communication plan for EVV Compliance:
- Draft, modify, and distribute EVV compliance communications
- Send PCA non-compliance list to the EVV Support team who assist with PCA outbound calls
- Create lists for Everbridge compliance messages and collaborate with IT to monitor the process.
- Send address list to Mailing Department for warning letter preparation
- Manage all incoming/outgoing EVV compliance-related emails and escalating any observed trends or case specific
Training
- Collaborate with the training and knowledge management teams to ensure EVV guidance is accurate and contract aligned
- Provide EVV Compliance training to Tempus operations teams and other individuals as necessary
- Review EVV job aids, FAQs, scripts and training content for compliance accuracy

As part of Alameda County Health, the Behavioral Health Department supports people with Medi-Cal and without insurance living with serious mental illness and substance use conditions along their path toward wellness, recovery, and resiliency. We provide services through a network of contracted mental health and substance use providers and administer the Stateโs resources and training for behavioral health providers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. We advocate for our patients and families and create space for personal engagement in their care.

POSITION
Under general direction, the designated program Compliance and Privacy Officer (CPO) plans, organizes, directs, monitors, and promotes an effective compliance and privacy program. This position ensures that departmental compliance programs are consistent with Alameda County Health (ACH) Standards of Conduct and core values, policies and procedures, and promote adherence to applicable federal and state laws to advance the prevention of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse, while providing quality care and services to those served by ACH; oversee all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance, and adherence to ACHโs policies and procedures covering the privacy of and access to protected health information (PHI) in compliance with applicable state and federal laws; and performs other related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
This classification is in ACH and reports to the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and is responsible for the broad coordination of the Departmentโs comprehensive healthcare compliance and privacy assurance program. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and performing activities related to education, training, auditing, and investigations to ensure employee awareness and compliance with the program and may serve as project manager overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of related programs. This classification is distinguished from the Quality Assurance Administrator classification which has primary responsibility for day-to-day operational issues focused on the appropriate and effective delivery of services to clients whereby this classification is focused on broader departmental-wide compliance activities.

- Implements and oversees the compliance and privacy program at departmental level to ensure the program meets the state/federal requirements and is aligned with the Alameda County Health Office of Compliance Services (OCS)
- Acts as a consultative resource for the entity leadership and associates on compliance and privacy matters. Provides overall leadership on issues concerning compliance and privacy, including developing and implementing controls designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, accurate coding and billing, contract agreements and detect and deter fraud, waste, and abuse.

- Ensures the implementation and maintenance of an effective healthcare compliance and privacy program for the entity which will include conducting relevant risk assessments and developing risk-based compliance work plans.

- Lead discovery and qualify deals: Diagnose root causes, quantify business impact, and use a structured framework (MEDDICC or similar) to confirm fit, stakeholders, decision process, and urgency.
- Solve the biggest problems: Identify the highest-priority IAM issues (โthe nastiest problemsโ) and shape the single best-fit services solution to solve them.
- Own proposals and SOWs: Lead proposal development and Statement of Work creation (scope, assumptions, success criteria, milestones, client responsibilities, change control), leveraging internal sales engineers and solution architects for technical details and estimates.
