This is a Weekend shift position: 8am-5pm

Responsibilties:

A day in the life of a Multi Modality CT Technologist   at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Performs complex CT procedures.
  • Evaluates radiographs to ensure that radiographs contain proper identification and are of diagnostic value.
  • Uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from the medical record, health care proxy and health care providers to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety. The collection of information is determined by the patient's needs or condition.
  • Determines whether the patient has been appropriately prepared for the procedure.
  • Preps patient for scanning: (i.e. shielding, immobilization devices).
  • Assist providers with CT guided Interventional procedures as required.
  • Perform CT examination and administer contrast following established departmental protocols.
  • Provides accurate explanations and instructions at any appropriate time and at a level the patient can understand. Addresses and documents patient questions and concerns regarding the procedure when appropriate.
  • Performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines.
  • Monitors the patient's physical condition during the procedure. 
  • Reviews images to determine if additional scans will enhance the diagnostic value of the procedure.
  • Performs retrospective reconstruction on raw data.
  • Provides technical assistance and instruction to students, employees, and medical residents.
  • Adheres to the principals of image gently & image wisely.
  • Follow & adheres to infection control guidelines and sterile techniques.
  • Revises scanning parameters to better visualize the pathology in accordance with established protocol.
  • Reviews all diagnostic or therapeutic data for completeness and accuracy. 
  • Documents diagnostic, treatment, and patient data in the appropriate record.
  • Archives images to data storage devices according to established guidelines.
  • Assesses equipment to determine acceptable performance based on established guidelines.
  • Performs daily clerical duties, which includes the use of EPIC, PACS, Teletracking System, computer system, patient scheduling, and other computer systems as added by hospital.
  • Greets all patients when they arrive for their exam utilizing AIDET standards.
  • Administers emergency care including performing CPR, if necessary. 
  • Responsible for scheduled shifts including holidays and weekends.
  • Overtime as needed to provide continual quality patient care. 
  • On call assignments as needed per Department of Radiology policy.
  • Adheres to the policy of Employee ID, Standards of Behavior, Attendance, and Punctuality.
  • Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and /or visually impaired, etc.). This process includes communicating with the patient, parent, and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.). 
  • Performs modality specific daily and monthly QA.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
  • Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
  • Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
  • Registration with the ARRT - one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.

The Wellness Nurse is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Duties
As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. Coordination of Health Needs:
  • Identify on-going needs and services of residents in promotion of the highest quality resident services to be delivered.
  • Ensure proper follow through, assessment, and documentation for residents with a change in health care services and status.
  • Assist Resident Care Director (RCD) in conducting resident assessments at time of move in, 30 days post move in, semi-annually and with any change in status.
  • Conduct monthly wellness visits for all residents.
  • Assess, monitor, and follow up with residents who have experienced any fall, accident, or incident and document and report as required and directed.
  • Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file.
  • Maintain communications with resident's family and or responsible party to ensure medical needs for the resident are being met.
  • Contact resident's attending physician when necessary and/or upon family request.
  • Ensure weights and vital signs are obtained monthly for each resident.
  • Assist in maintaining wellness files according to Sunrise policies and federal and state/provincial regulations.
  • Maintain medical supplies and emergency kits for the community.
  • Provide clinical support and assistance to community team members as needed.
  • Understand and follow infection control practices.
  • Partner with the RCD and community team to promote infection control standards including any resident testing, training, and skills checks.
  • Understand and practice the proper method of attending to and disposing of and the possibility of exposure to blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious waste, sharp sticks, and hazardous materials in compliance with universal care precautions.
Medication Programs
  • Monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile regularly to ensure each medication and treatment is administered as ordered and documented accurately.
  • Transcribe physician orders Medication Administration Record Treatment Administration Record (MAR/TAR) to include initials, date and time 'noted' and, date faxed to pharmacy accurately and promptly.
  • Complete MAR/TAR audit each month.
  • Demonstrate and is knowledgeable of the Six (6) Rights of Medication Pass ("Right" resident, medication, dosage, time, route, right to refuse).
  • Act as liaison for pharmacy services to ensure effective services for residents.
  • Monitor the Medication Room, medication carts, and treatment carts for neatness, cleanliness, availability of medications, and expired medications.
  • Complete Medication Observations and skills checks for medication care managers at the direction of the RCD.
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
  • Demonstrate and is knowledgeable in the following key quality improvement areas:
    • Resident Centered Care Model
    • APIE
    • Quality Care Indicators and Outcomes

We are currently hiring Sales Associates for our Easton Park store location.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:

* Enjoy talking with new people and building trust through conversation
* Are curious and motivated to learn about pet nutrition and wellness
* Take pride in meeting goals and contributing to team success
* Are comfortable with physical work , including lifting large bags of dog food
* Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment
* Are consistently on time, reliable, and prepared
* Are at least 18 years old

Retail or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred.
Schedule Expectations (Please Read Before Applying):

* This role requires regular weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)
* Evening availability is required
* Shifts generally fall between 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
* Schedules are consistent but retail flexibility is essential
* Reliable transportation to East Austin , South Congress or Easton Park is required

If you are not able to work weekends or evenings on a regular basis, this role may not be a good fit.
What You'll Do:

* Engage customers by asking thoughtful questions to understand their pets' needs
* Recommend and sell high-quality pet food, treats, and supplements
* Educate customers on our free loyalty program so they can earn rewards
* Serve our in-house made doggy & kitty frozen yogurt
* Receive and unload shipments, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized store
