What you’ll achieve

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) specializing in Data Center Liquid Cooling, with emphasis on rear‑door heat exchangers (RDHx) and cooling distribution units (CDUs). This is a new capability within our organization, and you will serve as our primary expert in liquid‑based thermal solutions for high‑density compute environments.
In this post‑sales architecture role, you will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, design full liquid cooling solutions, support field teams during deployments, and help shape our internal best practices around liquid cooling technologies.

You will:
Customer Engagement & Post‑Sales Architecture
Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to gather thermal, environmental, mechanical, and operational requirements
Design end‑to‑end liquid cooling solutions featuring rear‑door heat exchangers, CDUs, manifolds, hoses, fittings, and facility water loop considerations
Produce detailed solution designs including schematics, BOMs, system flow diagrams, thermal performance expectations, and installation guidelines
Translate customer requirements into scalable, supportable, and reliable architectures
Deployment & Field Support
Support field engineering teams during installation, commissioning, and validation of RDHx and CDU systems
Provide technical oversight on-site or remotely, ensuring the deployed system aligns with the approved design
Troubleshoot flow rates, pressure drops, temperature deltas, coolant quality, sensor behavior, and CDU operational parameters
Assist with acceptance testing, monitoring configurations, and integration with facility cooling infrastructure
Internal SME & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the internal authority on liquid cooling within engineering, operations, sales, and product
Develop internal documentation: reference architectures, best practices, safety guidelines, and deployment playbooks
Train field teams and adjacent groups unfamiliar with liquid cooling practices
Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to stay aligned with the latest RDHx and CDU technologies
Practice Development
Define standards and repeatable processes for liquid cooling implementations.
Contribute to service offerings that support deployment, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of liquid cooling systems
Help shape long-term strategy and roadmap as our liquid cooling practice grows

Essential Requirements
7+ years in data center infrastructure, solutions architecture, mechanical/thermal engineering, or HPC environments
Hands-on experience with: Rear-door heat exchangers (enclosed or active systems)
Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), Secondary Fluids Network (SFN) design and fabrication
Coolant loop design, manifolds, flexible hose routing, connectors, drip‑less fittings, sensors, etc.
Rack and system level liquid cooling technologies, including multiple cooling loops, and direct-to-chip cooling

Strong understanding of: Heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
Facility water loops and integration points
Flow balancing, delta‑T analysis, and pump performance curves
Leak detection and safety best practices

Familiarity with data center power/cooling concepts (rack-level thermals, airflow management).

Architecture & Customer-Facing Skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings for existing and proposed HVAC systems for the purpose of identifying the location of new and existing systems and determining the efficient installation of additional equipment/systems.

Confers with immediate supervisor and assists with the coordination of day-to-day activities (e.g.

periodic lubrication; filter cleaning; changing belts, repairing system leaks, checking water tower components, trouble/issues phone call response, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the proper and efficient maintenance and repair of District HVAC.

Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.

Coordinates personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders (e.g.

establishing work schedules, reviewing processes to be undertaken, etc.) for the purpose of providing direction and information for decision-making, taking appropriate action, and/or complying with health and safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

EDUCATION: No specific education is required.

EQUIVALENCY: Any combination equivalent to three (3) years of journey-level experience in the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration field, including one (1) year with the responsibility to lead/supervise the work of others.

Position Summary:

Jorgensen Company, an employee-owned company since 1994, is looking for a Fire Sprinkler service technician to join our team. The technician will perform routine inspection testing of water-based fire sprinkler systems to include but not limited to, wet systems, dry systems, pre-action systems, Deluge systems and fire pumps with associated equipment. The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, service, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This position is also responsible for ensuring detailed write-ups of fire inspection reports in accordance with NFPA 25 Title 19.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish inspections under NFPA 25 water-based sprinkler/suppression systems guidelines and other equipment that is a part of the overall fire protection system.
  • Perform inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems under NFPA 25 Title 19.
  • Perform a 5-year inspection on water-based sprinkler/suppression systems.
  • Utilize various hand tools, shop tools, and equipment for testing fire sprinklers.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and/or replacement of defective components of the water-based sprinkler system, fire pumps, pump controllers, water flow and tamper switches.
  • Request and maintain accountability for parts, tools, equipment, and materials required for work performance and work assignments.
  • May be required to conduct both routine and emergency services after normal work periods.
  • Available to work after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Responsible for safe operation, cleanliness, and operator maintenance of assigned vehicle.
  • Prepare and complete required work documents/reports.
  • Comply with safety/environmental standards and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
  • Other assignments as duties require.



Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Fire Sprinkler Fitter Card (Required). Skilled and trained (Preferred)
  • 2–3 years of experience servicing fire sprinkler systems with strong knowledge of 5-year inspections.
  • Familiar with applicable fire and building codes (Preferred)
  • A valid state issued driver’s license & DMV record that is acceptable to our insurance.
  • Occasionally travel (overnight stays may be required)
