Job Title: Technical Writer & Proposal Specialist

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY (Headquarters)

Seeking a conscientious and meticulous Technical Writer to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex geophysical software engineering and professional communication. You will be responsible for the end-to-end proposal process and the creation of high-quality technical documentation that ensures our global clients, including organizations like the CTBTO—receive clear, compliant, and user-friendly information.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proposal Facilitation & Management

• End-to-End Coordination: Manage the full lifecycle of the proposal process, from sending "Intent to Bids" and queries to procurement, to the final submission .
• Compliance & Formatting: Create technical and financial templates, integrate boilerplate text, and ensure every submission strictly adheres to procurement requirements.
• Data Management: Build complex tables for team data, manage staffing information, and format/edit staff CVs to meet RFP standards.
• Final Submission: Handle secure delivery, including PDF encryption, SHA verification, and multi-step email submissions. Maintain organized archives in SharePoint and Google Drive.

2. Technical Writing & Editing

• Documentation: Author professional user manuals, installation guides, quick-reference guides, white papers, and case studies.
• Refinement: Edit technical content produced by non-native English speakers to ensure professional clarity and tone.
• Visuals: Create and maintain infographics used across proposals and documentation to simplify complex concepts.

3. Qualifications

• Precision: Exceptional attention to detail; you catch the errors others miss.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to "write original text" that translates technical specs into value propositions.
• Reliability: A self-starter capable of managing tight deadlines and "conducting at least 2 rounds of editing" per proposal without supervision.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, encryption tools, and document management systems.

Nice to Have Usability & User Experience

• UI/UX Advocacy: Provide critical input on user interfaces to reduce usability friction and improve the overall user experience.
• Accessibility: Ensure all digital documentation meets modern accessibility standards.

Cast Members working in entry level culinary positions are responsible for execution of all menu categories and specific recipes for all restaurant menu items including timing, quality, temperature, portion, and presentation.

A Cook 4 will be assisting with all overall culinary production, which includes preparing menu items from recipes, for consumption in hotel restaurants throughout the resort.

They will also be responsible for promoting a fun and creative working environment and partner with Front of House to ensure Cast training/knowledge of product ensuring a smooth operation and delivery of exceptional dining experience.

The Maintenance Lead provides safety and servant-based leadership to achieve breakthrough production results on their line/ system. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for building capability in Operating Teams and Equipment Owners. The Maintenance Lead works to eliminate losses following a rigorous daily process that is data driven and focused on root cause elimination. The Maintenance Lead is accountable to improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination and planning and scheduling. This position leverages the process discipline of continuous improvement tools.

The Maintenance Lead is the Planned Maintenance (PM) System owner for their lines. The Maintenance Lead will build capability in the Process Lead and Line Lead roles and must be able to cover their responsibilities in their short-term absence.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Leadership

• Build capability of the line team and technicians to understand their equipment at component level in addition to identifying and resolving defects and improving asset life.
• Analysis of equipment performance and improving component life.
• Leads portions of the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly DDS meetings, including:
• Daily reporting and prioritization of defects found/ fixed as well as total backlog
• Daily reporting of breakdowns as well as initiation and execution of Breakdown Elimination
• Contribute to development and execution of the plan for the day
• Weekly BE dice chart overview and development of line team and technicians through sharing and educating BE learnings
• Weekly tracking and reporting of maintenance measurement data - Backlog, MTTC, PM Completion (Indicators of health of P&S system)
• Identifies and address safety risks related to maintenance activities (standard and non-standard) and prioritizing safety risks identified through DH. Includes maintenance work completed during planned stops.
• Deliver spring plan M/R Costs for the Line (Materials, Services, OT).
• Direct people leadership may be part of the role expectations depending on the organizational structure.

Foundational Systems

• Maximo data integrity and adherence to Maximo standards (or local Computer Maintenance Management System)
• Health of DH system: Leads documentation of standards, and coaches the Line Team and technicians through the identification, prioritization, and resolution of defects.
• Breakdown Elimination: Identification of triggers, tracking of BE's through dice chart, ensuring completion of BE's and implementation of countermeasures.
• Planning & Scheduling: Plans, schedules, and assigns all work (CM and PM) for the line prioritizing as it relates to addressing top stops/ losses. Including shutdown planning.
• Loss Elimination
• Supports development and leads execution of 90-Day improvement plan to deliver glidepath through loss elimination.

Seeking a reliable, highly organized Office Coordinator to support day today administrative operations, provide coordination support for projects, and assist with office management activities. This role provides direct administrative support to a Vice President and their direct reports and works closely with project managers and internal teams to keep work organized, moving forward, and on track.
