Job Summary

Data Analysts analyze data, interpret trends and patterns, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. They develop data models, perform data mining and statistical analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data-driven strategies.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, databases, and systems to extract insights, trends, and patterns that inform business decisions, strategies, and operations.

Responsibilities

The Institutional Research Data Analyst will also be expected to perform various duties specific to institutional research, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to intermediate to high difficulty/complexity ad-hoc data and analysis requests
  • Adhering to federal, state, and institutional policies, regulations, and requirements related to data security, privacy, and governance
  • Completing or supporting the completion of externally-driven compliance and data-related reporting including

    • Federal, e.g., IPEDS, NSF-HERD, NSF-GSS, etc.
    • State, e.g., USG data collections, data requests, etc.
    • Higher education organizations, e.g., AAUDE, SREB, NSC, accrediting bodies, etc.


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced certification may be preferred or required (some profiles may require additional education).

Required Experience
Four or more years of relevant experience.



Proposed Salary

Annual Salary Range: $75,751 to $80,000

We are seeking a seasoned Analytics leader to build and lead our enterprise Analytics and Data Governance function in a modern group purchasing / procurement environment. Key Responsibilities:
