Responsibilities: As a Senior Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for: 1.

Conducting legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in case preparation.

Assisting in the preparation of trial exhibits and materials.

Qualifications: To be considered for the Senior Legal Assistant position, you must possess the following qualifications: 1.
5-8 years of experience as a legal assistant in a litigation and medical malpractice firm.
2.
Proven expertise with e-filing procedures in Federal courts, State courts, and appellate courts 3.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court systems.
4.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
7.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
8.
Knowledge of medical terminology (highly preferred) 9.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Job Details Key Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of foreclosure litigation, including drafting and filing pleadings in state and federal court.
Manage discovery, including written discovery, document production, and ESI protocols.
Draft motions, oppositions, and memoranda on foreclosure and real property litigation issues.
Attend conferences, hearings, and courtroom appearances with minimal supervision.
Support and coordinate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management.
Liaise with clients and third parties on case status, deadlines, and administrative matters.
Maintain accurate case and calendar management for multiple active matters.
Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
3+ years of litigation experience preferred, with exposure to real property or related civil litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Familiarity with New York foreclosure procedures, real estate litigation, and creditors’ rights a strong plus.
Comfort handling court filings, motion practice, and appearances.
Ability to manage a robust docket of active cases with attention to detail and responsiveness.
