Position Summary
The Community Mediation Case Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for San Diego County community members seeking conflict resolution services. This role manages intake and screening, coordinates mediation logistics, provides conflict coaching when appropriate, and ensures timely, accurate documentation in alignment with NCRC protocols and mediation ethics. The Coordinator communicates frequently with clients, mediators, partners, and referring agencies to move cases forward. The Coordinator serves as a knowledgeable representative of NCRC, ensuring that outreach efforts are accessible, culturally responsive, and aligned with the organization's mission to promote constructive dialogue and equitable conflict resolution across diverse communities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Intake & Assessment
•Receive referrals and inbound requests; conduct intake interviews and screen cases for mediation appropriateness.
•Explain program scope, process, confidentiality, and participant expectations; provide information and resources.
•Offer conflict coaching or conciliation when mediation is not appropriate or when parties are not ready to participate.
Case Coordination & Logistics
•Coordinate case logistics, including mediator assignment, scheduling, interpreter needs, space or virtual platform setup, and materials.
•Communicate with clients, mediators, attorneys, courts, and community partners to facilitate case progress.
•Monitor caseload, timelines, and follow‐ups to meet program service standards and turnaround goals.
Documentation, Data, and Quality
•Document all contacts, case notes, agreements, and outcomes in the case management system with accuracy and timeliness.
•Safeguard confidentiality and maintain neutrality in accordance with mediation ethics and NCRC policies.
•Track and report data (e.g., caseload, stage, outcomes, demographics) to support grants, contracts, and continuous improvement.
Client Care & Communications
•Use trauma‐informed, culturally responsive, and inclusive communication practices with all participants.
•De‐escalate highly charged conversations; exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
•Provide referrals to community resources when mediation is not suitable or additional support is needed.
Outreach & Education Support
• Raise community awareness about available mediation and conflict resolution services.
•Share program information with partner organizations.
•Attend community events as needed.
•Assist with the preparation of educational materials or presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
•Certificate in Mediation/ADR or 1–2 years of relevant experience (mediation, conflict coaching, restorative practices, or similar).
•Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social sciences, criminal justice, conflict resolution) or equivalent experience.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening and customer service orientation.
•Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and professional boundaries.
•Experience working effectively with diverse communities across cultures, identities, and perspectives.
•Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn case management databases and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom/Teams).
•Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment with attention to detail and follow‐through.
Preferred Qualifications
•Bilingual or multilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic, Burmese, etc.).
•Knowledge of the California court system and community resources.
•Experience with community mediation programs, small‐claims or housing matters, or court‐connected mediation.
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a hybrid position with three in‐office days and two remote days per week based on program needs. Regular in‐office work occurs at the NCRC City Heights location. Schedules may be adjusted to meet client and program requirements, including occasional evenings or weekends for mediations or events. Ability to attend mandatory staff meetings and organizational events is required.
Compensation
Hourly range is $23 -$25/hour (non‐exempt)/Annualized at $47,840 to $52,000. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

As a Dir II HSE Program, you will direct the operations of the United States Adopted Names (USAN) Program and serve as Secretary to the USAN Council. Serve as an International Nonproprietary Names (INN) expert for the World Health Organization's INN Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
USAN Program Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the USAN Team including managing USAN and INN applications and the negotiation, approval, and payment process for all generic drug names in the United States.
- Provide operational and governance guidance and oversight to USAN Program staff by ensuring adherence to USAN policies.
- Serve as a liaison with the FDA and WHO.
- Responsible for managing USAN's operating budget, ensuring timely revenue recognition to meet financial targets.
- Responsible for establishing USAN-specific goals and providing input to help shape and implement BU-level processes.
Nonproprietary Naming Lifecycle
- Conduct negotiations for nonproprietary names for drugs, both small molecules and biologics, pharmaceutical aids, and veterinary drugs marketed in the United States between drug manufacturers, the USAN Council, and the World Health Organization (WHO)
- Serve as single point of contact with pharmaceutical clients throughout the drug naming lifecycle.
- Conduct extensive research on the availability and appropriateness of the suggested names and stems.
- Prepare and review analysis of related agents for applications.
- Ensure established nomenclature and chemical format standards are followed.
- Read and report on drug nomenclature and medical literature to maintain skills for this position including monitoring and interpreting advances in the field of nomenclature.
Secretary to the USAN Council and INN Program Expert
- Conduct biannual USAN Council meetings. Responsible for the agenda, organization and content of USAN Council meetings. Present USAN requests and new policies for review by the USAN Council at these meetings.
- Act as primary contact and spokesperson for the USAN Council; provide nomenclature guidance to manufacturers by directly communicating and explaining USAN rules and processes.
- Conduct reviews of all INN applications and make recommendations to the INN Secretariat.
- Attend INN Expert Consultation meetings twice per year to approve USAN and INN requests submitted to the INN Program.
Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and provide management oversight for staff.
- Responsible for setting objectives, evaluating employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree required.

As a Supported Living Service Case Coordinator, you will assist consumers with a variety of services and trainings to enable them to live independently in their community. Our program serves people from Boston to Southeastern Massachusetts. Case Coordinators are the difference in the lives of our consumers on a regular basis. Essential Functions
- Develop Supported Living Service Plans
- Maintain communication with the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) (or other service) provider.
- Assist consumers in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of their Personal Care Attendants, sign onto the PCA program Service Agreement if surrogacy is required. Be thoroughly detailed in the understanding of this document and assist consumer comply also.
- Assist Consumers in obtaining housing if needed.
- Assist consumers in setting up and maintaining appropriate records regarding Personal Care Attendants (PCA), finances and medical issues.
- Assist consumers with accessing community resources such as health care, recreation, transportation and adult education.
- Encourage and assist consumers in the development of relationships with other members of the community.
- Maintain confidential records according to program guidelines.
- Train consumers annually on human rights and how to obtain assistance on human rights violations.
- Assist consumers with Transitional Assistance services through the Money Follows the person (MFP) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) waivers.
- Follow MRC Community Living Program manual standards, as well as other regulatory documents related to the position.
- Must report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual/physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC).

SUPERVISES: Part time /temporary non benefited staff, and students during the academic year and summer component and all academic and non academic student activities in the absence of the director.
SUMMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Grant -Funded Integral position for a U.S. Department of Education funded Upward Bound Program Trio grant. This position is contingent upon grant funding. Develops implements and coordinates a student assessment system and plan of action to strengthen the students' academic skills, particularly in the areas of weakness identified through the assessment system. Evaluates all students periodically and documents their progress (using individual educational plans, IEP's) and maintains systematic records and produces reports on the program's academic support and instructional activities (both summer and academic year components). The Upward Bound Program works individually and in groups with educationally, economically and/or socially disadvantaged high school students to equip them with the skills and motivation necessary to successfully complete high school and be accepted into a post-secondary institution of higher education.
EXAMPLES OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans and implements academic tutoring and mentoring to meet the individual needs of the program's students for the academic year component.
- Trains and supervises six- eight part-time tutor/mentors and one part time Master Tutor
- Completes required program evaluations and submits them to the Upward Bound Office at the close of each school quarterly marking period.
- Reports quarterly on programmatic developments and curricula design.
- Travels between satellite programs at area schools and attends Saturday sessions.
- Conducts home visits and participates in parental conferences at the request of the Director

Minimum Quality Requirements:

The client's Office of Corporate Engagement coordinates the global philanthropic efforts of The GS Group including strategic partnerships, charitable giving, and employee community engagement. The Office of Corporate Engagement comprises the GS Foundation (GSF), 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses, Community TeamWorks (CTW), The client Gives, and other philanthropic and service-oriented endeavors.
The Program Manager is a full-time, temporary position. The selected candidate will manage the CTW program and other employee engagement activities, including pro bono initiatives for nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
CTW is a global employee community engagement program that allows the people of the firm to participate in team-based volunteer projects with nonprofit organizations. Since 1997, CTW has offered opportunities worldwide for employees to contribute their ideas and expertise to drive tangible progress in communities. GS had over 26,000 volunteers last year complete 1,800 projects with 900 nonprofit partners.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Oversee a portfolio of over two hundred CTW volunteer projects in order to ensure the success of program, the internal stakeholder experience, and GS partnerships with community organizations. Responsibilities include project planning and project application review; managing project information on the program's internal web site; serving as main point of contact for nonprofits and internal stakeholders; grants processing; program administration and reporting; and planning, coordinating and overseeing transportation
- Work in partnership with various internal departments to coordinate on-going logistical planning (events, marketing campaign, marketing material distribution, and t-shirt fulfillment; drafting communications and training materials)
- Assist with end of CTW season program evaluation, including data collection and analysis
- Provide project management support for key elements of various pro bono initiatives, including nonprofit application review, drafting presentations and other program related materials, and project logistics

The School of Public Health (SPH) at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary, part-time instructors (Teacher - Special Programs or TSP) to teach continuing education modules in residential and online education formats for non-degree students.
The general duties and responsibilities include:
- Design and develop online modules
- Teach a short course
- Participate in course and program evaluation
- Teach at institute bootcamps
- Contribute to curriculum development of modules, courses, and/or certificate programs for non-degree students
In addition to teaching responsibilities, duties can include preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus, videos, and interactive assignments etc.), holding office/discussion hours, assessing student work and providing feedback to students, advising students, responding to email, and maintaining a course website.
It is recommended that TSPs participate in faculty orientation activities.
