GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Visitor Center Manager, this position performs a variety of clerical,
administrative, and customer service tasks to support the overall operations of the Visitor Center. Tourism
Advisors/Cashiers greet and converse with visitors, providing them with insights into the town's rich history
and culture by serving as ambassadors to enhance the visitor's experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Assists the public at the front counter by ringing up purchases;
* Answers questions and provides information in person, via email, and by telephone;
* Refers unresolved matters to the appropriate staff member;
* Performs basic office tasks;
* Reconciles cash drawer at the end of their shift;

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

a cash register and bagging customer purchases, which require eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.

Hours: The Visitors Center is open daily, seven days a week throughout the year excluding Thanksgiving,
Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Shifts are typically split between the morning and afternoon.

The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) program is designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete high school education and graduate from institutions of post-secondary (college, technical) education. Our goal is to recruit participants into the Upward Bound program, retain them, graduate them, and get them ready for post-secondary education admittance and graduation.

The Opportunity:

The Academic Support Coordinator II is a highly studentfacing position within UCF's TRIO Upward Bound Project ACE. It supports lowincome, firstgeneration high school students at Apopka High School by providing academic advising, coordinating collegereadiness programming, facilitating workshops, and maintaining strong relationships with school partners and families. The Coordinator is a full-time year-round position, reporting to the Manager of the Upward Bound Program (ACE). This position will split work between UCF's Main Campus and Apopka High School.

Responsibilities:


  • Delivers services to program participants both virtually and in-person at AHS, ensuring comprehensive support in alignment with program goals. Collaborates with the Manager to meet internal objectives and improve service delivery.


  • Tracks students' academic progress, including advising, course selection, and graduation requirements, while developing and monitoring Individual Academic Plans (IAPs). Reviews report cards and academic performance to create tailored academic success plans for students.


  • Designs and delivers a college readiness curriculum, including workshops on college access, financial literacy, career exploration, and family engagement. Researches and stays updated on higher education trends to enhance evidence-based decision-making for student success.


  • Maintains accurate student records, updates participation data in the Blumen database, and documents student involvement in project services. Analyzes data and generates monthly reports to inform the Manager of program progress and areas for improvement.


  • Implements recruitment, orientation, interviews, and intake processes to enroll the required number of students as mandated by the Department of Education. Establishes and maintains relationships with target schools, community stakeholders, and families to support outreach efforts.


  • Coordinates and participates in academic, social, and cultural events such as college yours, community service, and leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership committee to enhance student engagement and personal development.


  • Assists in planning and executing both the academic year and summer programs to ensure high-quality student experiences. Develops and distributes a monthly program newsletter to keep students and parents informed of upcoming opportunities and achievements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with high school students, particularly first-generation, at-risk, and low-income students.


  • Program development experience related to advising, student support, and/or career planning.


  • Demonstrated skill in delivering presentations or workshops.


  • Experience with TRIO or other federally funded academic access programs.


  • Prefer candidate with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish in order to work effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct design for excellence (DFx) reviews to evaluate designs for cost, producibility, inspectability, consistency, adequacy, accuracy, and conformance to requirements

  • Collaborate with design, quality, and certification teams to embed manufacturability, compliance, and risk mitigation in all phases of product development (e.g., prototype, R&D, certification, and production)

  • Develop and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, quality management system, technical bulletins, engineering orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives

  • Develop processes to ensure accurate, current, and complete documentation (installation and inspection records, logbook entries, etc.) is utilized and maintained

  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to maintain schedule, quality, and reliability

  • Ensure an adequate supply of tools, serviceable parts, components, and consumables necessary for aircraft servicing and maintenance is maintained

  • Oversee routine/non-routine aircraft installations, inspections, and maintenance to ensure aircraft safety and availability across multiple airframes

Basic Success Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience leading aircraft maintenance/modification operations

  • 7+ years of aircraft design, manufacturing, inspection, and/or testing experience

  • 2+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs in aerospace, autonomy, or robotics

  • 2+ years of experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, such as Altium, NX, and Teamcenter

What we're looking for:



  • 8+ years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data.
  • 5+ years in ads measurement with a strong focus on ad effectiveness and incrementality (e.g., conversion lift, brand lift, budget-split testing, matched-market tests, MMM, MTA).
  • Proficiency in SQL and expertise in at least one scripting language (ideally Python or R).

Clinical Psychologist - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, this position is split as follows: 60% Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation ( Brain Injury patients) 40% Department of Psychiatry and will enhance access for psychological service delivery for traumatic brain injury (TBI), cognitive, and neurological conditions.

Clinical Psychologist - Pediatric Development, experience working with young children (ages 3-6), particularly those who may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Strong understanding of autism and early childhood development, experience conducting diagnostic assessments, including the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule),
proficiency in administering and interpreting cognitive (IQ) and academic achievement testing. This role plays a key part in supporting early identification and intervention planning for children with developmental and behavioral health needs.

Clinical Child Psychologist, experience and ability to treat children and adolescents who present with trauma and safety concerns, development delays, autism, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an APA accredited graduate school required.

Experience: Two years clinical experience which may include the year of internship required. The second year must be post-graduate and include supervision by a licensed Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Licensed by Virginia by the Board of Medicine as a clinical psychologist or by the Board of Psychology as a Psychologist (Clinical), or in West Virginia by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists required. Must have de-escalation training successfully completed within four months of hire and then maintained annually going forward when working in the inpatient environment.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Meets credentialing requirements. Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with physicians and other health care providers. Must have a commitment to continuing education.
