Role Summary

The Sr Mechanical Superintendent leads field execution of mechanical scope on mission-critical data center projects. This role owns day-to-day onsite leadership for mechanical activities: safety, subcontractor coordination, installation quality, schedule adherence, testing readiness, and turnover support. The Mechanical Superintendent ensures systems are installed correctly, documented properly, and turned over in a manner that supports successful startup, commissioning, and operations.

This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for a leader who can drive production, coordinate seamlessly with electrical and CSA teams, and maintain clean build discipline in critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Field Leadership (Primary)

  • Lead mechanical field operations while reinforcing a zero-incident culture.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with site safety plans, permits, JSAs/AHAs, LOTO requirements, hot work controls, and housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct regular safety walks; correct unsafe conditions immediately and escalate when necessary.

Mechanical Scope Execution (Primary)

Lead and coordinate installation for mechanical systems, including (project-dependent):

  • Chilled water / condenser water piping and equipment
  • CRAH/CRACs, AHUs, MAUs, exhaust systems
  • Cooling towers / fluid coolers / pumps / heat exchangers
  • Hydronic specialties, valves, strainers, expansion tanks, insulation
  • Mechanical supports, housekeeping pads, curb systems, equipment rigging coordination
  • Fire protection interface coordination (as required)
  • BAS/BMS coordination for controls and integration readiness
  • Equipment access, service clearances, and maintainability requirements

Planning, Sequencing & Schedule Control (Primary)

  • Own mechanical short-interval planning (daily/weekly) and support pull planning with measurable commitments.
  • Coordinate mechanical rough-in, overhead work, and equipment setting paths with CSA/architectural progress and electrical busway/gear installation.
  • Identify constraints early (design gaps, material delays, access conflicts) and drive resolution to maintain schedule.
  • Track manpower, productivity, and area readiness; communicate impacts and recovery plans.

Quality Control & Clean Build Discipline (Primary)

  • Enforce mechanical installation standards, tolerances, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Drive quality walks and manage deficiency/punch lists to closure.
  • Protect critical spaces: dust control, cleanliness, protection of finishes/equipment, and strict housekeeping expectations.
  • Ensure labeling, tagging, and documentation support turnover and commissioning.

Coordination & Communication (Primary)

  • Lead/participate in key coordination meetings: foreman huddles, subcontractor coordination, BIM/VDC coordination, look-ahead planning, and progress walks.
  • Coordinate with commissioning agents (CxA), controls vendors, and TAB contractors to ensure readiness and logical execution.
  • Communicate field issues clearly with options, impacts, and recommended solutions.

Procurement & Long-Lead Tracking (Supporting)

  • Track and support procurement status for mechanical long-lead items (CRAH/CRAC, pumps, towers, valves packages, specialty equipment).
  • Coordinate delivery, laydown, rigging plans, and installation readiness with the project team and vendors.

Testing, Commissioning Readiness & Turnover (Primary/Supporting)

  • Drive mechanical completion by system/area to support startup and commissioning.
  • Coordinate TAB and flushing/cleaning requirements (hydronic cleanliness, chemical treatment as required).
  • Ensure prefunctional checklists, test results, and installation sign-offs are complete and filed.
  • Support turnover requirements: as-builts, O&Ms, training coordination, warranties, spare parts, and final punch closure.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong mechanical construction background with superintendent-level leadership experience.
  • Mission-critical/data center experience strongly preferred; other high-spec industrial or healthcare experience considered.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical means and methods, sequencing, and constructability.

Master Technology Group (MTG) specializes in designing, installing, and servicing low-voltage commercial property technologies across local and national markets.


The Integrated Security Systems Technician (Traveling) provides customer-focused, workplace technology support to clients, field staff, installation partners, and internal team members. While most support work is performed remotely, occasional on-site assistance may be required locally and nationally.


Supported systems are primarily security-related, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and EAS. Additional support may encompass network programming, fire alarm systems, data infrastructure, AV, and other low-voltage disciplines.


An MTG Integrated Security Systems Technician must deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, Local Service Partners (LSPs), and colleagues. This role requires technical proficiency, extensive knowledge of low-voltage systems, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.


Candidates must reside in the Twin Cities area and are expected to perform most of their work from our Eden Prairie, MN office. Periodic job site responsibilities may be required locally and nationally, with travel up to 60% supporting client sites, installations, and service operations.


To assist with critical service issues, the role includes on-call duties as part of daily responsibilities, requiring availability after hours on weekdays. Weekend on-call shifts will be rotated on a scheduled basis to ensure support during urgent weekend needs.


This position reports to the Manager of Technical Services.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production/manufacturing equipment and machinery for a new start-up facility. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnosis equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Follow specifications of blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings; install, maintain and repair

equipment, machinery, physical structures, and plumbing/electrical systems.

2. Inspect, measure, and test equipment while in operation visually (using electrical and electronic equipment) and auditory (listening for unusual sounds from machines or equipment) to detect malfunction, wear, misalignment, or other problems. Position Overview

Carroll Seating Company is seeking a detail-oriented and field-driven Casework Project Manager to join our Wood Dale team. This role is responsible for managing commercial casework projects from kickoff through final handoff, with a strong focus on field execution, coordination, and jobsite oversight.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts, from performing field checks, factory releases to installation coordination, while serving as the primary point of contact in the field.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Field Oversight

  • Manage assigned casework projects from project kickoff through final completion and handoff
  • Oversee jobsite activities to ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and on schedule
  • Manage design and contractor changes throughout the installation process
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, installers, manufacturers, and internal teams

Factory & Production Coordination

  • Review and manage job releases to the factory
  • Ensure accurate documentation, specifications, and approvals prior to production
  • Coordinate timelines with production to maintain project schedules

Installation Management

  • Arrange and schedule installation crews
  • Provide installers with necessary documentation and jobsite details
  • Monitor installation progress and address field conditions or changes as needed

Communication & Documentation

  • Lead project kickoff meetings
  • Maintain clear communication between sales, design, factory, installation teams, and clients
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and change orders
  • Ensure all closeout documentation is completed for final handoff


Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in commercial casework, millwork, furniture, or construction
  • Strong understanding of jobsite coordination and construction processes
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing factory releases and installation schedules preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management software, BlueBeam experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to Illinois and Wisconsin jobsites as required

General purpose: The Utility Equipment Operator I, II and III operate a variety of vehicles, heavy and light equipment, specialized equipment and various hand and power tools in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems and utility work site restoration for the assigned division. This work is performed under intermediate supervision the incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments; work is reviewed periodically through observation, adherence to policies and procedures, and review of results achieved.

Water Distribution: Installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of potable water mains/services, valves, hydrants, and other appurtenances.

Wastewater Collection: Installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of sanitary sewer mains/laterals, manholes, valves, and other appurtenances; operation of CCTV vehicles and equipment; operation of vacuum trucks and equipment.

Construction Services: Construction for the installation or modification of water, wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure including excavations, horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, utility locating/tracking equipment.

Utility Patch Crew: Restore roads, sidewalks, curbs, excavations, etc. for Water and Wastewater Department and Electric Department utility site work.

Essential functions: Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment that may include, but not limited to, backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders, horizontal directional drill rigs, tapping/line stop equipment, skid steers, asphalt paver/screed, CCTV truck/equipment and vacuum trucks/equipment. Operate a variety of equipment and power and hand tools that may include, but not limited to, forklifts, chain saws, cement cutters, jackhammers, plate compactors, tampers, dewatering pumps/well points, etc. Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure or utility work site restoration. Transport personnel, equipment, and materials to and from job sites; hauls refuse, brush, rock, materials, and equipment. Operate various pieces of equipment on a daily basis in a proficient manner while complying with safety rules and regulations. Inspect and maintain assigned equipment; check oil and perform basic service tasks; report malfunctions for repair; prepare equipment and refuel daily as required; perform safety inspections of assigned equipment. Oversee and implement temporary traffic control. Duties may require manual labor in support of the construction, repair, installation, maintenance, etc. Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the division supervisor or foreman. Assist in construction support for other divisions and departments as needed. May be required to work nights, weekends, or take on-call duty on rotating basis for after hour's emergencies and services. Perform other work as assigned.
