Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for all payroll-impacting communications across the organization. This role manages a high-volume payroll inbox and incoming phone calls, ensuring that all payroll-related changes are accurately received, validated, documented, and routed appropriately.

While this role will not be processing pay checks, the Payroll Coordinator plays a critical quality-control and risk-prevention role in the payroll process. Errors in documentation, misrouted requests, or incomplete information can directly impact employee pay. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Orlando, FL.

Role Description

Systems Engineers use a Software Engineering approach to architect, design, automate, monitor, support and build applications scale both on premise and in the Cloud (AWS). This includes operating and engineering software with close business segment alignment to deliver platforms through efficient, effective and resilient architectures.

• Hands-on work contributing to the design, development and implementation of software systems, applications and related products.

• Monitors domain technologies, understand vendor roadmaps and how it impacts/affects environment

• Develop and maintain engineering and architectural standards for on premise/hybrid compute, storage, application and data protections services

• Technology partner to all business segments consulting on service delivery and technology opportunities, advising on proper service delivery and fulfillment practices and portfolio management approaches.

• Consistently reviews and advises on the effectiveness of their technology approaches and its implications to the technology delivery function.

• Technical expert and thought leader in the development of virtualized technologies.

• Design and implement DevOps level deployment using CICD methodologies.

Skills & Requirements

• Individual must be highly resourceful and independent with the ability to quickly learn multiple disciplines and achieve manufacturer certification levels

•Seasoned technologist whom will identify technology and execution challenges in solutions and products pro-offered by Strategy/Architecture as well as outside vendors and OEMs.

• Assist in creation and documentation of day to day operational procedures.

• Strong knowledge and ability to describe and differentiate the features, benefits and disadvantages of competing virtualization and cloud platforms

• Working knowledge of storage/server virtualization platforms (NSX, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)

• Working knowledge of Virtual Environments such a VMWare

• Acts as primary support owner and contact for one or more hosting infrastructure applications, collaborating with other project team members and management orchestrate environment changes including software/hardware upgrades, and patches working with the vendor support for escalation of issues, including on-call rotation with Infrastructure operations team.

•Provide system reports on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.

• Improve automation and productivity of provisioning and maintenance through scripting and/or coding enhancements (Ansible and Python are highly desirable)

• The ideal candidate will have expertise in multiple Public Cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud Services, Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. (AWS Experience is required)

• Akamai or a functionally equivalent solution

What You’ll Be Working On:


  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional technical support to customers via Zendesk, meeting SLAs and maintaining high CSAT (95%+).
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to VMs, hardware failures, and scaling tests using CLI and internal tools.
  • Alert Triage and Maintenance: Manage alert triage, prepare for maintenance windows, and conduct node delivery testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with SRE, Networking, and Storage teams from initial triage to root cause analysis (RCA) delivery.
  • Global Teamwork: Adhere to global team collaboration and handoff processes for ticketing and on-call procedures.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop onboarding/training materials, knowledge base documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


What You’ll Bring to the Team:


  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of equivalent technical experience.
  • Linux Proficiency: Strong command-line interface (CLI) skills in Linux environments.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git for code management and collaboration.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid between $125,000 and $151,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
