ABOUT THE POSITION

LSC seeks an attorney to represent children in immigration proceedings. Our immigration clients are primarily monolingual Spanish speakers and also include Central American and Mexican indigenous youth as well as youth of African descent. We welcome applicants at all levels and provide opportunities for training and leadership. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

· Conducting legal screenings, client interviews, and factual and legal investigations, counseling clients, developing case strategies and case plans, and engaging in oral and written advocacy as part of representing children in immigration matters (primarily Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Asylum, T and U visa cases)

· Representing non-detained youth in Immigration Court proceedings and related state court matters (probate guardianship and dependency as needed), as well as applications before U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) and cases before Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)

· Engaging in advocacy efforts on behalf of children, including conducting community presentations for children, families, schools, and community organizations

Qualifications:

· 0-4 years experience as a licensed attorney. Current California Bar Membership in good standing preferred – candidates barred in good standing in other states who are eligible for provisional licensure will also be considered, but presence in the SF Bay Area is required. We will consider candidates with pending Bar Exam results.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary scale is non-negotiable and is based on years of relevant full-time experience as an attorney, ranging from $78,13 years). LSC also offers a flexible spending account for qualified health expenditures.

·       Deliver presentations and training sessions on hardware and software solutions, as well as introduce available dealer programs.

·       Ensure dealers are enrolled in relevant programs and incentives designed to reward business growth.

·       Keep dealers informed of current promotions, incentives, and sales opportunities.

·       Facilitate ongoing training for dealers on the correct use and programming of products.

 

Cultivating New Dealers and End Users

·       Identify and engage with new qualified dealers in production, systems integration, and lighting sectors.

·       Collaborate with emerging companies to strategically align their business operations with the Vision2 portfolio of brands.

·       Establish connections and network with venues requiring audio, video, lighting, or control equipment, directing them to qualified dealers who can fulfill their requirements.

·       Cultivate opportunities with end users and guide them towards the appropriate dealer channel.

 

Responsibilities to Vision2

·       Record all quotes and project information in CRM systems to ensure accurate manufacturer reporting, including pipeline and forecasting.

·       Develop a comprehensive Territory Plan.

·       Compile a detailed list of targeted dealers, both existing and prospective.

·       Assemble a targeted list of end users, such as venues, schools, and houses of worship.

·       Provide weekly reports outlining key business activities.

·       Establish and maintain a consistent travel schedule for monthly and quarterly engagements.

·       Participate in training related to manufacturer product lines.

·       Manage expenses and demonstration inventory efficiently.

 

Preferred Background and requirements:

·       Previous experience with an audiovisual manufacturer, representative firm, systems integrator, or touring/rental company is required.

·       A minimum of three years’ experience in an outside sales position is preferred, with significant focus on production and integration.

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed is essential.

·       Candidates must possess reliable transportation and hold a valid driver's license.
