Duties and Responsibilities:
- Find, engage, and close new client prospects
- Build a channel of referral partner relationships that effectively generates qualified leads
- In the first year thoroughly understand BBSI’s ideal client base and business development best practices.
- Your primary role will be to develop new business by conducting 5+ business development meetings (leads) per week to build a referral partnership network.
- Through consultative-selling, focusing on the value rather than price, you will successfully align prospective clients with our business units to determine best-fit.
- You will need to manage/coordinate/schedule initial contacts, sales calls, client meetings, and business units schedules with the business unit team.
- Within first 60-90 days be able to successfully create your referral network plan, having identified 20-30 primary referral partnerships to build.
- At the year mark you will have completed training with the Area Manager and team and will be expected to bring on 2-3 new clients a month going forward.
- Outline and execute on a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals
- Work with branch team to align prospects and move them into closing and onboarding
- Understand BBSI’s target client base, and focuses business development efforts accordingly
- Drive top line revenue for the branch while supporting efforts to effectively manage bottom line
- Comprehend financial concepts; P&L, rate of taxation, labor burden, etc.
- Clearly communicate value and expectations to clients and referral partners
- Strong analytical, negotiating, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Strong time management skills
This position reports to the Area Manager and works in partnership with other positions within the business unit and branch.
Special Requirements:
- 3 + years of experience as a Top Performer in one or more of the following fields, or comparable experience in an industry that requires long term relationship management:
- ASO or Payroll services Sales
- PEO Sales
- Commercial Insurance Sales, with specific knowledge in Workers Compensation
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven track record of being a top sales performer
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with valid automobile insurance meeting BBSI criteria. Roughly 85% of time requires automobile travel – primarily local, with some overnight.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $100,000-110,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

Basic Qualifications:
· Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, related discipline, or relevant work experience.
· 3+ years of construction experience required; experience working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
· Proficiency in Procore and MS Project.
· Must possess advanced knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications and practices.
· Strong understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project, particularly for ground-up construction, and public works.
· Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
· Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish, with a proven track record in ground-up construction, public sector projects, and tenant improvement projects.
· Skilled in developing and negotiating relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders in public work and design-build environments.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $120,000 to $150,000, with a starting salary of $120,000 for candidates with limited experience as Project Managers. Job Summary: Responsible for assisting management in the general business operations of the company by overseeing the onsite management of projects, including the supervision and oversight of onsite personnel and subcontractors. - Possess a strong working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, owner contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built drawings.
- Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure completion of the project in accordance with the project schedule and to ensure that no additional costs are required for completion of work.

- Advise Project Manager of project issues, events, performance, and progress of the project.Provide overall project schedule impacts and identify root causes for project schedule delays.
- Inform and consult with General Superintendent regarding any difficulties or restrictions experienced in the ability to adequately perform required documentation, Quality Assurance and Control, execution of work, or other project responsibilities.
- Purchase necessary materials and supplies, inspect for quality and quantity, and review and approve related invoices.
- Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out and maintain and review punch list process to ensure all items are addressed and executed in a timely manner.
- Supervise assigned Assistant Superintendent(s) and/or other field personnel.
- Hold and/or participate in project meetings (e.g., subcontractor safety preconstruction meetings, meet with client representatives to discuss construction status and activities, weekly subcontractor meetings, etc.).
This position will also require performance of the following duties:
- Handle project set-up to include obtaining trailer, equipment, required signage and postings, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other items in accordance with company procedures. Demobilize at project end.
- Through use of CMiC, complete accurate daily reports (including weather and subcontractor manpower reports), safety logs, equipment rentals, and cost coding.
- Assist the Project Manager in issuance of monthly payment applications (e.g., percent complete of each activity).

- Coordinate substantial completion, including proper owner training for essential equipment installed, O&M Manuals, punch list preparation and other paperwork.
- Coordinate final acceptance, including punch list completion, commissioning, and warranties.
- Provide value engineering.
- Conduct site visits/field investigations as required.

Staffing Branch Manager - Up to $65k/annually DOE!
Summary: This position is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process. The recruiter is to: Obtain a thorough understanding of the staffing needs of our clients, source candidates, interview, conduct various screenings and background checks, make independent hiring decisions or recommendations to clients, coordinate placement, conduct on-boarding, provide guidance to field staff and communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with the worker and our process. Has the discretion to place associate employees with clients based on the best fit for the job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with branch manager and or client to determine staffing needs and understand job specifications, competencies and skills required.
- Follow up with clients on open orders regarding progress.
- Source candidates through various methods including networking, job sites, career fairs, etc.
- Screen resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and in person as required).
- Administer appropriate assessments, pre-employment testing and reference/background checks.
- Make hiring decisions.
- Extend offers of employment based on company process.
- Collect proper identification, complete I-9 in a timely manner.
- Coordinate new hire assignments and conduct on-boarding process.
- Provide guidance to field staff.
- Follow up with client to ensure satisfaction with the worker and our process.
- Serve as a contact point for clients and assigned workers to assist with general inquiries.
- Provide corrective action communication to field staff.
- Utilize judgement to release field staff based on performance, behavior and/or attendance.
- Communicate assignment conclusions and provide direction on next steps.
- Responsible for promptly and accurately inputting all required information and documents into the Avionte system.
- Follow up promptly regarding field employee injuries and clinic work status reports, etc.
- Meet specific recruiting goals and objectives.
- Produce high quality, error free work.
- Display a friendly, courteous and helpful disposition.
- Promptly greet and assist branch visitors and answer phones with a welcoming tone.
