The Manager, IT Digital Operations owns the operational health, support and subject-matter expertise of the processes & technologies related to the consumer-facing content and website & mobile application flow for Family Dollar. These areas include, but are not limited to the web storefronts, mobile/loyalty apps, social media platforms, promotional emails and consumer rewards/contests. MELE is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP)/Mobile Detection Deployment Unit (MDDU) program. MDDUs are assets designed to supplement Federal and State partners' and first responders' existing CBRN detection and reporting capabilities in support of national and other special security events. The program is growing into the full spectrum of CBRN detection, however the emphasis of this support is focused on radiological/nuclear detection operations and instrumentation. The nature of the MDDU force will be voluntary and managed on a rotational basis for scheduled events and short notice requested to deploy. The Program Manager is responsible for providing operational and program support. This position will be the lead personnel for their specific location and responsible for successful completion of all tasks. This position will be an asset designed to supplement Federal and State partners' and first responders' existing CBRN detection and reporting capabilities in support of national and other special security events. Deployment without advance notification may be required. This position must have experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation.

Responsibilities: Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Supervise regional mobile detection deployment units (MDDU) in delivering critical assistance to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) detection and interdiction capabilities during domestic law enforcement counterterrorism operations.
• Provide program management, field operations, logistics and inventory, and fleet management support to a national CBRN support capability that assists CWMD's law enforcement and other public safety partners at all levels of government with detecting, reporting, and interdicting WMD threats.

• Strategically locate detection equipment caches and technical support personnel throughout CONUS for immediate short- and long-term support deployments that include national special security events, significant state and local special events, special operations, and multi-agency training and exercise activities.

Job Description:

Tech Stack: Java/J2EE (Spring, Spring Boot, Python, Shell Scripting, Kafka, Oracle, MongoDB etc.).

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering teams with continued focus on improving Platform health
• Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development practices
• Hands-on expertise in building dashboards using APM tools.
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge & Exposure caching tools (Redis, memcache) or messaging tools such as MQ, Kafka.
• Must have working knowledge of APM tools such as splunk, GCL, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
• Able to create Dashboards using GCL/Splunk/ELK and setup alerts.
• Working knowledge of CICD is a plus – Source control like Git, Continuous Integration – Jenkins / UCD Release etc. .
• Ability to work with Engineering teams across the ecosystem such as Security, Networking & Infrastructure challenges which can impact platform health & resiliency.
• Shell Scripting / DevOps tools like Ansible with good knowledge of yaml file to write playbooks .
• Experience with distributed storage technologies like NFS as well as dynamic resource management frameworks PCF, Kubernetes / OpenShift, AWS or Azure.
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks

Job Description

Working on day-to-day Snowflake Admin activities like, Storage Integration (AWS & GCP buckets), Integration setup (Notification, API & Email)

Setup of Inbound & Outbound Data shares as per the project requirements.

IP Allow listing as per the Project requirements, after review/approval of Platform Manager.

New Application Onboarding guidance and provide in-depth knowledge around the costing & billing aspects as per the standards.

Analyzing the Snowflake Warehouse Usage and provide best recommendations as per the trend and cost optimization.

Providing guidance around the usage of Cloud Toolkit API's and reading the secrets and manage the passwords in Keeper Vault Services.

Configure and optimize Snowflake accounts, virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and user roles.

Monitor platform performance and ensure optimal configuration and scaling of compute resources.

Implement and manage data security measures including role-based access control, data encryption, and user authentication.

Monitor query performance and optimize SQL queries for better efficiency, Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks and resource contention issues, Utilize Snowflake's advanced features such as clustering keys, materialized views, and result caching to enhance performance.

Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data durability and availability, Manage data archiving, replication, and failover processes.

Develop and maintain scripts for automating administrative tasks and workflows, Utilize tools and frameworks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Snowflake-related issues, collaborate with Snowflake support to resolve platform-specific issues

Knowledge in any RDBMS database like Teradata or Oracle

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Salary Range: $64,000 - $125,000 a year
