The Specifics of the Role:

• Industrial Business Unit Business Plan. Proactively engage in networking, industry events, and targeted marketing to build new client relationships.
• Project Acquisition: Lead the RFQ/RFP response process, including developing pursuit strategies, managing design and preconstruction efforts, overseeing communication and marketing, and presenting to clients. Ensure strategic alignment in deal negotiations, scope definition, and contract administration.

Requirements:

The Scheduling And Planning Manager builds and maintains the project schedule and the different baselines in accordance with Clayco's policies, owner requirements, and the on-going analysis of the network logic and validation as it complies with the intent of the project team. Cost and resource loading including the Clayco metrics and general conditions is required on all project schedules so, all report generation and cash flows will be a critical element of the role.

Periodic progress updates of in-progress schedules. Collection of all pertinent data required to update the schedule. The Scheduler is responsible for collection of update data from multiple sources, including the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Owners Representatives and subcontractors. All update data shall be approved by the Project Manager prior to incorporation into the schedule.

Maintenance of Project Schedule Baselines. Maintains Project Schedule Baselines in accordance with Clayco's policy regarding Baselines and any additional requirements the Owner's contracts may include.

Periodic Performance Report Generation. Generation of project specific Performance Reports as well as Clayco Standard reports, including but not limited to: Critical Activities Report, Baseline Deviation Report, Earned Value Performance Index Report and Project Cash Flow Report.

Cost and Resource Loading of Schedules. Required at a minimum on all Clayco projects to include the Clayco Metrics Resource Set for project staff and General Conditions. As required by the project, updating cost and resource actuals may be required as part of the periodic progress update process.

Network Logic Analysis and Validation. On-going analysis of the network logic and validation that it complies with the intent of the project team and that it complies with the Clayco Standard Guidelines for network logic. The network logic on-going analysis shall also include removal of extraneous and superfluous dependencies that may cause errors in calculating total float and criticality.

Assist in preparation of Monthly Schedule Reporting. Preparation of the required reports for the project and shall include assisting with the draft of the Monthly Schedule Narrative.

Schedule Development. Developing schedules from the ground up for both proposals and construction projects. Development of both types of schedules shall be a team effort.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related major is required.

6-10 years of scheduling experience.

Data Center experience.

Recent expertise and a proven knowledge of Primavera P-6 scheduling management system.

Project Management experience working for general contractor preferred.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook and willingness to regularly update skills.

The Quality Control Managerwill be involved in the implementation, oversight, and management of all aspects of Quality Control program, the management and coordination of all documentation performed by testing personnel and any other inspection personnel required by contract, within the Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals sector. The Electrical Estimator participates in all aspects of the preconstruction process for Electrical systems to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates with a focus on heavy/advanced manufacturing, industrial, and mission critical projects. • Periodically attend pre-bid meetings to become familiar with unique project requirements and analyze existing site conditions to determine required scope not already indicated.
• Review and interpret project documents (drawings, specifications, one-lines, equipment and cable schedules, site layouts, power distribution plans, etc.) to determine job-specific material, equipment, and labor requirements for scope development.
• Assist in preparing written scopes of work for subcontracts and suppliers and coordinate electrical scopes with the work of other trades (e.g., civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, process, etc.).
• Participate in pre-proposal design coordination meetings to support the development of pricing documents for conceptual and schematic estimates.
• Perform quantity surveys of electrical systems and components (power distribution, switchgear, MCCs, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, controls, etc.) using digitized software and apply industry standard labor rates to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for conformance with requirements; level scopes and identify low-cost/best-value responses while clearly documenting assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Assist in the preparation of estimates used for bidding and budgeting purposes (including self-performed work); participate in internal estimate review processes and assist with final recap of estimates for presentation to senior management.
• Support project management tasks including budgeting, schedule development, interim design review, change order pricing, procurement, value engineering, and vendor selection based on proposal development.
• Coordinate with project teams to evaluate productivity for historical data tracking and schedule/cost forecasting.
• Perform quantity surveys of completed designs and/or past projects to support historical cost database development and benchmarking.
• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of education (including trade schools) and professional experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in construction with 1+ years’ experience estimating electrical systems (power, controls, and related infrastructure).

• Full understanding and working knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems. General understanding of BMS and EPMS Systems.
• Full understanding and coordination of Utility relocations, underground medium voltage systems, and BIM modeling coordination of ALL utilities both above and below ground.
• Full understanding and managing of all LOTO procedure's and FOD inspections for all systems.
• Ability to research and understand local codes and jurisdictional requirements for the project.
