Department Overview:

OHSU Family Medicine is part of OHSU School of Medicine. OHSU Family Medicine is focused on family health. We provide preventive, primary and specialty care for you, your children, your spouse, your parents and your grandparents. We provide all that family medicine has to offer - from maternity care through geriatrics. Our clinics are home to more than 120,000 patients every year, but despite the large number, our physicians, nurses and other clinic staff know their patients - and their families - by name.

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university?s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

This position is employed by OHSU with a clinical location of South Hillsboro. South Hillsboro is a Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) owned and operated clinic with HMC oversight of staff, policies and procedures. This position will partner with both OHSU and HMC.

Function/Duties of Position:

• Provide full spectrum family medicine care, (including obstetrical (OB) care strongly preferred, but not required).
• Work collaboratively with full and part time faculty to maintain an active practice.
• The Appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university?s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
• The faculty member will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view.
• The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship. Previous work experience in primary care is required.
• The Appointee will directly see patients in their clinic eight half days per week and have two half day?s available for administrative duties/scholarship duties. Expectations for number of patients seen per half day will be commensurate with that of other faculty and with minimum target numbers of 8-10 visits per half day depending on complexity of the patient population.
• The Appointee will be expected to document using the electronic health record and maintain complete and timely patient care documentation consistent with OHSU and Family Medicine policies and procedures.
• Be available for teaching activities including but not limited to resident precepting, student precepting, didactics and more.
• By mutual agreement between the Department and the physician, this position may include Inpatient Care (HMC and OHSU) with call duties being shared with the faculty inpatient call group.
• The Appointee will be expected to participate in seeing patients during expanded access hours in the clinic, including their share of evenings and weekends, and call coverage. The Appointee will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business perspective. Compensation for the position will include a University base academic salary and a clinical incentive system based on productivity, as well as, personal initiative.

Required Qualifications:

• Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible. (Licensed in Oregon)
• M.D./D.O. as well as successful completion of a graduate medical education in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency.
• Capable of providing comprehensive health services
• Certified to prescribe all classes of DEA approved medications
• Approved staff privileges at OHSU University Hospital, OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital and other specific community hospitals as partnerships expand.

The Advanced BioImaging Center (ABC) in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Professional Researcher at the Assistant, Associate, or Full rank. This position will focus on advanced, independent research leading the ABC computational team to develop vision-transformer-based foundation machine learning models. The Researcher will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of optical physicists, engineers, and computational imaging researchers to achieve the ambitious goal of creating a generative AI model for segmenting and querying complex 4D high-resolution data of zebrafish development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancing biological imaging and AI-driven data analysis at the intersection of biology and computational science.

As this project grows, the individual will be expected to expand their leadership and adapt to the evolving scope of the research. The role will begin with leading efforts to supervise data collection and management, model development, and collaborating with leadership across the center. The researcher will build and manage a team of data scientists, and computational biologists to test AI-driven imaging models and will facilitate scientific collaborations with local, domestic, and international researchers. This position will take on a growing role and contribute to a groundbreaking initiative in biological imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

*Conduct and design independent research and lead a team of data scientists and software engineers to enable the development of state-of-the-art AI models for light sheet microscopy data.

*Collaborate with experts in optical physics, engineering, and computational imaging to support a foundational AI model for high-resolution developmental biology data.

*Conduct and lead experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis pipelines to ensure optimal data quality.

*Facilitate and maintain scientific collaborations with local, domestic, and international researchers as the project expands.

*Publish research findings in high-impact journals and presenting at scientific conferences.

*Supervise and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, staff scientists, and academic research titles involved in machine learning and biological data analysis.

Lab:

Construction Operations

• Oversee vendor and subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations
• Manage change management processes including RFIs, design revisions, and client directives
• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and energy performance requirements
• Ensure compliance with building codes, engineering specifications, and project documentation

Project Systems & Reporting

• Oversee setup and management of the project management platform (Procore)
• Ensure proper document control and change management procedures
• Prepare and review monthly project reports and financial updates

Safety & Quality Management

• Promote a safe work environment through safety planning, job hazard analyses, and site walkthroughs

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams
• Support development of team members and promote collaboration across divisions

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction or related fields
• Experience working for a mechanical subcontractor or MEP contractor
• Hands-on HVAC construction experience
• Experience managing $5M+ commercial or hospital construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Equivalent field experience in HVAC or plumbing construction leadership may be considered

Preferred Background

• Career progression through the mechanical trades (plumber, foreman, superintendent, etc.)
• Experience with large healthcare construction projects
• Experience with construction project management software such as Procore
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, equipment, materials, and financial management

Estimators are responsible for evaluating specifications and drawings, ensuring that all information about the project is complete in order to successfully estimate, bid, and win the project.
