A well-established commercial interiors contractor is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on projects throughout the Austin market. This role focuses on preparing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for interior systems work including drywall and acoustical ceiling systems.

The Estimator will play a key role in supporting weekly bid volume and working closely with project management and operations teams to develop accurate project pricing.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial interiors projects
• Develop bids for drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and related interior systems
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously with an expected workload of approximately $1M in bids per week
• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify scope requirements

Qualifications

Job Description

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects focusing on framing and drywall, acoustical ceilings, acoustical specialties, EIFS/Stucco & exterior claddings. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial construction drawings & specifications, material, labor as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive knowledge and experience to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial metal stud, drywall, & ceiling scopes of work.
• Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
• Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.
• Collaborate with general contractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documents.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-year experience in construction estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing and drywall
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as The Edge, Onscreen Takeoff/QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar tools

The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities.

We are currently looking for Finish Carpenters to join our Wagman Construction Group across PA and MD projects. Work is performed outdoors year-round. Employees will be exposed to wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather conditions. This individual must have the ability to communicate and work well with others.

A finish carpenter is a skilled tradesperson who constructs, repairs, and installs structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. They work on a variety of projects, from building frameworks and installing components like doors and windows, to creating custom cabinetry and performing repairs. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.

• Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands
