About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in transforming complex clinical datasets into high‑quality, analysis‑ready outputs used to support clinical trials and real‑world evidence initiatives.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of data science, clinical research, and statistical programming. You’ll be responsible for validating, cleaning, and structuring data originating from multiple sources—including expert manual abstraction teams, AI‑assisted pipelines, EMR feeds, and EDC systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance across every dataset delivered internally or externally.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑obsessed, technically versatile, and passionate about elevating the quality of clinical data used in drug development.

What You’ll Do

• Convert raw, manually abstracted, and AI‑processed datasets into standardized formats (e.g., CDISC SDTM/ADaM) or client‑specific data models.
• Ensure outputs meet quality, compliance, and traceability standards.
• Generate TLFs (Tables, Listings, Figures) for clinical reports and interim analyses using SAS, R, or Python.
• Perform robust data cleaning and QC checks.
• Investigate anomalies and troubleshoot issues across the data pipeline.
• Distinguish between upstream extraction issues and true clinical variations.
• Partner with Data Platform and AI teams to automate cleaning scripts, validations, and workflow logic.
• Serve as an early user and feedback partner for internal data tools.
• Maintain documentation for data derivations, specifications, and validation logic (e.g., Define.xml, Reviewers Guides).
• Support compliance and regulatory submission needs.
• Complete internal and external analysis requests to support clinical insights, client value, and platform performance.
• Apply HIPAA-aligned data safeguards and adhere to best practices across privacy, security, and data governance.

Job Description: Data Analyst – Global Patient Access Program (GPAP)

Overview: The Data Analyst for the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), supporting GPAP’s data transformation and governance, will be instrumental in building and maintaining the backbone of automated reporting and KPI dashboards. This role ensures a single source of truth for GPAP operations, drives analytics innovation, and supports the integration and consistency of data across the program. You’ll collaborate closely with workstream leaders, lead in bi-weekly scrum sessions, and deliver insight-rich, timely outputs for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, automate, and maintain standardized PAP reporting, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc analytics tools using Tableau, Excel, and Snowflake.

The Scientific Computing & Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) accelerates scientific discovery by supporting a high-performance computing and research data ecosystem. This includes a data commons and two clinical research data warehouses: one for ISMMS and one for the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP), a multi-institutional research consortium ( ) funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Both warehouses use Microsoft SQL Server and the OMOP Common Data Model.

The Lead Data Warehouse Engineer is a senior technical specialist responsible for leading development, maintenance, and operations of these research data warehouses. The role collaborates with warehouse team members and research stakeholders to expand functionality and integrate new data sources. Data transformations are built in Transact-SQL stored procedures, with SSIS used for orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design databases and pipelines that balance functionality, performance, cost, and development time; evaluate technical options with the product manager.
• Design, build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using T-SQL stored procedures, SSIS, and SQL Agent; apply metadata-driven design for extensibility.

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $145200 - $217875 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. • Own and manage clinical data management activities for assigned early-phase oncology studies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and inspection readiness.

Data integrity is crucial to capturing the value of an ERP system. Master Data Specialist will be responsible for understanding how data should be created, maintained, interconnected, and utilized within the new system to satisfy the key needs of all stakeholders. During the ERP project, Master Data Specialist will play a crucial role in system validation and integration testing, by validating that business use cases are functioning as intended. They will support business stakeholders and process leaders by analyzing, validating, and displaying data so it can be most useful in driving business results.

• This role will work hybrid out of our office in the Sandy Springs, GA area with periodic heavy domestic travel.

Job Responsibilities

ERP Design & Preparation

• Work with business process leads, key stakeholders and end users to understand end-to-end, cross-functional data requirements
• Ensure data requirements are captured in business use cases
• Participate in master data discovery, extraction, cleansing, conversion, and loading
• Support data augmentation as needed
• Support data visualization as needed
• Understand data bridge to legacy systems and reports, to support stakeholders and users as they adopt the new system

ERP Testing & Deployment

• Participate in User Review Testing and execute business scenarios
• Identify defects and issues
• Support business users with data integrity issues and questions during ERP go-live & hyper-care

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of master data and ERP system expertise, including:
• Data extraction, cleansing and loading
• Hands-on experience with SAP or part of another ERP implementation team
• 3+ years of business process experience, including:
• KPI reporting and data visualization to drive business results
• Data quality monitoring; master data governance
• Problem solving skills to identify and resolve the root cause of issues and creativity to drive continuous improvement
• Organized and accountable to ensure work is managed and deadlines are met

Essential Functions:

• Execute reporting and system requests in alignment with established data governance standards and reporting frameworks under the direction of the Data Analytics Manager.

DEPLOY has been retained to find a Reporting & Data Architect Lead combines advanced reporting development with enterprise-level data governance and architectural leadership. In this role, you will own our client's enterprise reporting platform—designing robust Power BI solutions, managing shared data models, and ensuring the reporting environment remains secure, scalable, and high-performing.

You will also own our client's enterprise reporting standards and governance framework, ensuring reporting across all departments is consistent, trusted, and aligned with best practices. This includes defining reporting conventions, reviewing changes, onboarding departmental report creators, and stewarding enterprise reporting assets such as certified datasets and endorsed reports.

At the enterprise level, you will architect our client's data framework—defining how data is structured, named, documented, and shared across ERP, operational, manufacturing, and corporate systems.
