We're Not Your Average Therapy Practice
Let's be real: the traditional mental health system is broken. Fifty-minute sessions of talk therapy alone aren't enough. Clients deserve more. You deserve more.
At Reset Brain and Body, we're rewriting the rules of mental health care—and we've been doing it since 2015. We were founded by parents who witnessed firsthand that true healing happens when we honor the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. That's not just marketing speak—it's the foundation of everything we do.
We believe in the five pillars of mental wellness: breathe, move, nourish, connect, rest. We believe that trauma lives in the body, that regulation is a skill we can teach, and that creating genuinely safe spaces requires attunement, intention, and a willingness to get playful, creative, and yes—a little unconventional.
If you're tired of billing mills, burnout culture, and being told to "just do CBT," keep reading.
What Makes Reset Different:
Our Spaces Are Sanctuaries - Our offices don't feel clinical—they feel like home. Warm, inviting, serene. Because healing spaces should actually feel healing.
We Actually Value Our Clinicians
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (75% employer-paid)
- 401(k) with company match
- Generous PTO
- Monthly professional development stipend (because growth matters)
- Competitive compensation: $65,000 - $115,000/year
- Flexible scheduling that respects your life outside of work
We're Built on Community - Weekly consultations. Team trainings. Opportunities to lead workshops and retreats. Real relationships with colleagues who understand the weight of this work. We invested in earning a Great Place to Work certification because we mean it when we say culture matters.
We're Growing—Because It's Working - Our community keeps asking for more of what we offer. Client progress speaks for itself. The demand is real because integrative, whole-person care works. We're hiring now because we can barely keep up—and we refuse to compromise on quality or clinician well-being to scale.
Compensation:$65,000 - $115,000 yearly + benefits
Responsibilities:Your Role at Reset

Who We're Looking For
We need clinicians who get it—who understand that real transformation happens when we work with the nervous system, not just the narrative. Who can hold space for both deep trauma work and spontaneous laughter in session. Who stay curious about the latest neuroscience, somatic interventions, and embodied healing practices because you're genuinely excited about helping people heal at the deepest levels.
You intuitively understand regulation. You're trauma-informed. You can attune to what's happening beneath the words. And you're not afraid to bring your full, authentic self into the room—whether that means incorporating movement, breathwork, art, or simply being present with someone's pain in a way that feels genuinely human.
You also know this work is hard, and you don't want to do it alone. You're craving a team that actually shows up for each other, where collaboration isn't a buzzword but a daily practice.
Sound like you? We've been waiting for you.
What You Bring
Required:
- Valid Michigan psychotherapy license (LPC, LMSW, LP, LLP, LMFT)
- Training in holistic/integrative modalities (somatic experiencing, art therapy, EMDR, IFS, sensorimotor psychotherapy, polyvagal-informed approaches, etc.)
- A commitment to your own growth, self-reflection, and embodied practice
The Intangibles:
- You understand that calm is contagious—and you bring grounded presence to your work
- You're passionate about creating safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship
- You believe mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and community-centered
- You're ready to be part of something bigger than yourself
Ready to Reset?
If you're nodding along thinking, "finally, a practice that gets it," we want to hear from you. Submit your resume and a brief note sharing what inspires you about our approach. Tell us what lights you up about this work. Let us know what makes you come alive as a clinician.
Together, we can keep redefining what mental health care can be—one whole human at a time.
