Associate Attorney (Full Time) – Family Law

Herrig, Vogt & Hensley, LLP, is a well-respected mid-size practice known for its expertise in several distinct areas of law, including Family Law. The firm is seeking a dedicated, empathetic and detail-oriented Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Granite Bay team. Experience in Family Law areas, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, support, and asset division is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a full and active caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients and advocate for their best interests in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and other associates to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.

Qualifications Required:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the State of California
  • Good Standing with the California State Bar Association.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: Base salary for qualified candidates will be set to $100,000. This amount may increase based on years of experience demonstrated.

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Cara, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with insurance agencies, brokerages, and MGAs. You’ll manage the full sales cycleβ€”from prospecting and discovery through demo, close, and check-insβ€”while working closely with our product team to ensure prospects become long-term partners.


This is a high-impact role where you’ll be on the front lines helping agencies and brokerages adopt domain-specific AI to transform how they operate. You’ll collaborate directly with the founders, shape the go-to-market motion, and play a critical role in Cara’s growth story.


What You’ll Do

  • New Business Development: Build and manage a strong pipeline of agency and brokerage prospects through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, and industry events.
  • Full-Cycle Sales: Own the sales process end-to-endβ€”prospecting, qualification, discovery, product demos, negotiation, closing, retention, and expansion.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with prospects to understand their workflows and demonstrate Cara’s value; work with the product team to present tailored solutions that fit their needs.
  • Market Expansion: Represent Cara at conferences and networking events, positioning the company as the leading AI partner for insurance.


What You Have

  • 2+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with exposure to insurance, fintech, or AI/automation markets.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong discovery, demo, and closing skills, with the ability to simplify complex technology into clear business value.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with both executive decision-makers and frontline staff.

This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and plant leadership within a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Partnering closely with the Plant Manager, the HR Manager serves as a liaison across the HR function, delivering value-added service that reflects the organization's business objectives.

Here's what you'll do:

  • The Human Resources Manager will work closely with plant management and all employees providing hands-on guidance and strategic input and advice on: employee relations issues, conflict management, talent management, coaching and development, compensation, benefits, organizational development, and training.
  • The Human Resources Manager must play an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs and initiatives, while aligning with the company strategic plan and objectives.
  • Participate in and at times, champion HR projects as assigned.
  • Accelerate a culture of excellence in which employees feel engaged and inspired to deliver results.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Responsible for working closely with management to advise and carry out any disciplinary steps that need to be taken with an employee.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
