Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Β·Β· Perform Design & Release engineering activities at component and system level.
Β· Follow the Design Change Checklist for each part to understand required DV and PV.
Β· Execute CAD and CAE updates as required.
Β· Develop DVP&R for the system and components.
Β· Manage the new supplier interaction and management with support from Ford STA team.
Β· Create and maintain the detailed development work plans in support of program timing.

Β· Own the engine sub-system design release process using OEM PLM system (e.g. Teamcenter, CATIA, etc.).
Β· Approve drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and configuration content.
Β· Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
Β· Ensure design change impacts to cost, quality, emissions, and timing are evaluated and communicated.
Β· Lead Validation, APQP & Launch Support
Β· Lead engine sub-system related APQP activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, SCAAFS, Control Plans etc.
Β· Support DV/PV testing: durability, thermal, NVH, performance, and emissions.
Β· Coordinate prototype, mule, and pre-production engine builds.
Β· Support PPAP readiness and launch activities
Β· Ensure Quality, Compliance & perform Risk Management

Mechanical Design Engineer β ADAS Hardware Packaging
Description :
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and strong experience in automotive product development. The candidate must have either a Masterβs degree with 5+ years of experience or a Bachelorβs degree with 8+ years of experience.
The role focuses on the mechanical design and packaging of hardware components supporting automotive ADAS systems. This includes developing mechanical parts such as housings, mounting brackets and structural supports for vision systems, radar, safety sensors and related control units from initial concept through mass production.
The engineer will be responsible for full product development activities including design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction and specification definition, while coordinating prototyping, fabrication and manufacturing activities.
The position requires strong expertise in Catia V5 & V6 (including VPM Navi) along with advanced surfacing, meshing, FEA, sheet metal design, CAE, draft analysis and digital mockup (SPA). Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal forming, stamping, welding, injection molding and process control is required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong engineering capabilities in tolerance stack-up and part design optimization (function, cost and weight), along with strong project management and leadership skills to manage multiple projects and achieve technical objectives.

Manufacturing Engineer β Die Engineering - Die Process.
- Drive product development lifecycle to ensure robust, feasible, and manufacturable stamped panels.
- Conduct early stamping process feasibility evaluation in an integrated CAD/CAE environment and coordinate between product development and manufacturing teams to lead resolution of manufacturing feasibility concerns.
- Lead the creation of draw die CAD developments and construction release files for new model stampings.
- Update and maintain existing stamping die process information for the inclusion of improvements, service requirements and carry-over modified part releases required for new model usage.
- Develop stamping die processes for new model parts, optimized for cost and quality on a timely basis to achieve company objectives.
- Lead the development of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs) for new model stampings.
- Participate in and initiate cost requests for new model costing, evaluation of engineering proposals.
- Perform simulations of stamping processes for comprehensive formability evaluation.
- Optimize stamping processes: Perform draw and line die simulations and remain extensively involved in taking corrective measures to resolve stamping concerns through the refinement of product design and the stamping process until the launch of production to ensure that the manufactured stamping quality is in adherence to Our Client's standards.
