How You'll Contribute:
The installation technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. This installation can include displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, etc. Will also provide advice and guidance to Associate Installation Technicians as necessary.
Location: Must live in the Washington DC - VA area.
What You'll Do:
- Perform structured cabling installation: pull, terminate, label, and dress cables per project documentation and standards.
- Complete physical installation and wiring of AV devices (displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, control interfaces, etc.).
- Assemble, populate, and dress equipment racks with a high degree of workmanship and adherence to design documents.
- Solder and terminate connectors according to project specifications and accepted industry practices.
- Execute light physical construction tasks as required (e.g., blocking, mounting surfaces, hardware installation).
- Follow Diversified's installation procedures, quality guidelines, and safety protocols with minimal deviation.
- Maintain accurate daily records: timesheets, daily field reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, and Lead Technicians to ensure project milestones are met.
- Represent Diversified professionally on active job sites, including client and construction environments.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and skill development toward advancing technical proficiency.
Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients job sites with little supervision. On smaller projects this position may be responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors.
Decision Making Authority:
This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 60% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence. Employee will be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate. Local travel to job sites (within a 2 hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually but remote travel can be up to 30% of the job at times. 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
- Decision making: Responsible for making decisions surrounding vehicle diagnostics and repair
- Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including: standard vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, complex repairs with minimal (if any) support
- Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents - Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal (if any) support, utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable
- Performs remote triage to with RCRC and customers to determine best solution to assist roadside breakdowns
- Performs facility maintenance duties
- Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task

- Interact with non-contractual customers, exhibit account management skills to independently facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates with customer. - Cargo Handling/Transfer, Liftgates: Identify leaks; Operate lift gate; Identify make and model; Add fluid to bring to proper level; Make minor adjustments to lift platform and its controls; Identify basic malfunctions
- Charging Systems (electrical): Visually inspect batteries; Clean connections; Check condition of belts; Test batteries; Check alternator mounting and pulley; Replace and adjust belts; Perform basic charging system check
- Clutch: Lubricate throw-out bearing, linkage, shafts, and cables; Identify proper clutch operation; Identify proper clutch brake operation
- Cooling Systems: Check and adjust coolant levels; Visually inspect system for leaks; Make minor repairs such as hose replacements, fan shrouds, leaking fittings; Recognize permanent antifreezes and their requirements; Use refractometer; Use pressure tester; Flush and refill systems
- Cranking System (electrical): Inspect and test batteries; Visually inspect cables and cranking motor; Clean the battery cables, connections and starter; Replace batteries; Charge and check batteries; Replace or repair defective cables
- Lighting System and Electrical Accessories: Repair minor wiring problems; Replace bulbs, lenses and simple light assemblies; Repair minor lighting problems; Replace and adjust sealed beams; Install or replace accessories such as heated mirrors, fans, spotlights
- Drive Axles: Inspect housings for leaks; Change oil and filter, if required, and clean breathers
- Driveline: Lubricate drive line; Inspect components for wear or damage
- Gas Engines-All Engines: Check and adjust oil levels; Identify unusual noises, and oil leaks
- Fuel Systems: Replace and prime fuel filter; Check gas and diesel fuel system components such as fuel lines, pickup tubes, return lines, etc, for proper integrity and condition
- Preventive Maintenance: Proper lube techniques; Minimal tire inspection; Brake check/applied stroke; Battery check; Under vehicle check/loose components; Initial Fault code identification; All PMs (PM298) including C supplements to exclude overheads, engine brake overhauls, DPF servicing, clean doser injector, servicing ArvinMeritor unitized hubs, inspect Lece Neville alternator brushes, inspect modulator system for proper operation, inspect/adjust shift selector cable, pop test Isuzu injectors
- Steering and Non-driven Axles and Alignment: Lubricate grease fittings, check and adjust fluid levels; Check and adjust toe; Check all steering components for wear; Check and adjust trailer axle alignment; Adjust wheel bearings including replacement of wheel seal
- Suspension-Chassis and Cab: Identify makes and models; Identify normal operation; Identify and repair minor air leaks; Identify malfunctions of basic nature, broken springs, excessive wear on bushings, etc
- Tire and Wheel Maintenance: Perform air pressure checks; Check tread depth; Identify tires that need to be changed or repaired; Perform tire P.M. checks; Replace tire and wheel assemblies; Mount/dismount and rotate tires; Perform tire/wheel checks/repairs per (TW298)
- Vehicle Coupling System (PM): Lubricate fifth wheel plate and slider mechanism; Operate slider mechanism
- Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available. Perform work in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e. safety, DOT). Use internal and external maintenance documents
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all service, safety and environmental records required to meet and/or exceed corporate, federal, state, and local government mandated requirements.
- Accountable for key maintenance measurements established by company policy, related to the inspection and performance of PMs, brakes, tires, wheels, including any maintenance items directly associated with the safety of the customer.

Position Overview
We are seeking Maintenance Technicians with hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing, robotics, or warehouse automation environments. This role is critical to maintaining continuous system operation and minimizing downtime across highly automated equipment and production systems.
The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, working with PLC-controlled equipment, and performing both reactive and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced, high-automation setting.
What Youβll Be Doing
- Maintain continuous operation of automated, robotic, and material handling systems by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying components
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and return equipment to service quickly and safely
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic systems and process support equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and complex automated system drawings
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment and assist in automation system diagnostics
- Identify machine malfunctions, isolate root causes, and implement cost-effective repairs
- Perform equipment calibrations, re-qualifications, and system validations per schedule
- Assist engineers and automation teams with equipment installation, removal, and system qualification
- Support corrective action reports and process improvement initiatives
- Disassemble equipment, inspect components for defects, and repair or replace parts as needed
- Support both hardware and, at higher levels, limited software maintenance activities

Responsibilities:

- A minimum two (2) year technical degree or trade school equivalency
- At least three (3) years of practical working experience as a journeyman electrician in the industrial/commercial electrical equipment service industry
- A valid State of Michigan Electrical Journeyman License (required)
The incumbent will be a member of the team responsible for operating and maintaining the siteβs medium voltage electrical infrastructure, including substations, breakers, motor controls, high voltage cable, and distribution pole lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the siteβs medium voltage (480V β 13,200V) electrical distribution system.
- Perform preventive maintenance, modifications, installations, and repairs on medium voltage power distribution systems.
- Maintain substations, switchgear, breakers, motor controls, high voltage cable, and pole line distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, site procedures, and applicable government regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using established problem-solving methodologies.
- Support engineering activities including:
- Process design
- Equipment selection
- Documentation
- Calibration and testing
- Project scope development
- Communicate effectively when developing and implementing solutions.
- Work variable shifts and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation as required.
- Collaborate within a high-performing team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensing
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or relevant trade school equivalency required.
- State of Michigan Electrical Journeyman License (required).
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a journeyman electrician in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Medium voltage experience (480Vβ13,200V) strongly preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is a plus.

The position will have broad responsibility for operating and setting up the machines, operating equipment, ensuring quality, and monitoring production.
Job Responsibilities:
Sets up and adjusts machines and equipment to meet production specifications.
Checks and observes machines to ensure production of a quality product.
Makes necessary changes to equipment and processes as indicated by quality control check.
Responsible for the operation of the machines in the areas of production and quality of work produced.
Makes out daily production and downtime reports as required.
Cleans up assigned area and helps clear out scrap.
Monitors and maintains production and scrap rates.
Qualifications:
Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting.
Machine operation or mechanical skill set experience.
Knowledge of steel or manufacturing processes desired.

Job Summary
The Electrical Integrator L1 will provide technical support to program managers, project directors, task leads, and senior-level Electrical Integrators. The Electrical Integrator L1 will help with basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical cables, circuits, and assemblies.

Support program managers, project directors, and task leads with basic electrical assembly work such as cable assembly fabrication, and electrical chassis fabrication and assembly

Assist with kitting parts using a Bill of Materials or other online inventory tools
Job Duty 4 -
Support other work teams, as needed, with skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, metal work, drafting, parts inventory, and technical documentation
