The Role We Want You For

The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ground-up student housing development projects, from site identification and underwriting through entitlements, design, financing, construction, and delivery. This role works cross-functionally with acquisitions, design, construction, finance, and asset management teams to execute projects that align with the company’s investment strategy, brand standards, and financial objectives.

The Specifics of the Role

• Manage multiple student housing development projects simultaneously from concept through stabilization
• Coordinate due diligence activities including market studies, zoning analysis, environmental reports, and site feasibility

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in real estate development, preferably with student housing or multifamily projects
• Proven experience managing ground-up development projects exceeding $50MM+ in total cost
• Strong understanding of zoning, entitlements, construction processes, and design, development and finance

The Role We Want You For

The Associate / Senior Associate – Capital Markets supports CRG’s regional offices, Capital Markets team, and senior leadership through financial analysis of new development opportunities, active projects, and the broader CRG development platform. The role will focus primarily on CRG’s industrial platform, with potential exposure over time to data centers, residential/student housing, and other asset classes.

• Promote internal material sales (lumber, windows, trusses, etc.) and track full-package eligibility for design fee refunds. 
• Recruit, hire, and coach new design team members. 
• Evaluate customer satisfaction and adjust team workflows as needed. 
• Conduct performance reviews and counsel designers to support professional growth and accountability. 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years in residential home design, CAD, SoftPlan, chief architect, or Revit 
• Strong communication and leadership skills 
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer relationships and project timelines 
• Compliant in residential building codes and Wisconsin UDC 
• Familiarity with estimating processes and construction methods

Purchasing Assistant | Residential & Multi-Family Developer

Location: Orange County, CA

Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 DOE + Performance Bonus

We are a rapidly growing residential builder focused on luxury custom homes, multi-family, and build-to-rent communities throughout California. This is a high-visibility, non-clerical growth position designed for an ambitious professional who wants real exposure to the business side of construction.

The Role

You will work directly with leadership and project teams to support procurement, protect budgets, and ensure materials and trade partners stay aligned with fast-moving project schedules.

• Procurement & Bidding: Assist in preparing and distributing bid packages to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Bid Leveling: Level and compare bids to ensure complete scope coverage and identify gaps before contracts are finalized.
• Contract Administration: Support the drafting and issuance of purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Cost Management: Maintain accurate pricing data, track change orders, and assist in value engineering efforts.
• Compliance: Track insurance certificates, licenses, and onboarding requirements for new trade partners.
• Field Coordination: Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to align material orders with build schedules and track long-lead items.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years in purchasing, estimating, project coordination, or construction operations.
• Industry Exposure: Background in residential, luxury custom, or multi-family building is preferred.
• Technical Edge: Strong Excel skills are required; familiarity with Procore, BuildPro, or similar platforms is a plus.
