JOB SUMMARY:


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The Purchasing Category Specialist is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. This role is crucial in optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and maintaining efficient supply chain operations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Development and selection of suppliers, including international sourcing
  • Cost control, change control, and parts and service support for goods and services procured
  • Manage assigned commodities and supply chain strategy
  • Implement contracting strategies and contracts for goods or services
  • Responsible for support, implementation, and administration of supply agreements
  • Ensure all contract administration procedures are followed and executed in a professional manner
  • Resolve CSR and STR cases in an expedited manner
  • Perform cost analysis and assess impacts of supplier cost files
  • Assist in purchasing administrative duties (examples, however, not an all-inclusive list below):

    • LN part set-up, PDR creation, and enter approved cost changes
    • LN part updates, PMO/PLM assistance/liaison to OE engineering

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS



  • Knowledge of the commercial truck/automotive market
  • Ability to accomplish basic financial analysis, supplier selection, and approval

We are looking for a talented hands-on Sr. HR Process and Systems Analyst. This position is within our HR Operations and Analytics team and is responsible for supporting our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), technology and strategies with strong systems knowledge, departmental partnerships and being an advocate for the end user. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partners with Director HR Processes, Projects and Compliance to develop forward-thinking strategies around system enhancements, integrations, process improvement and employee experience.
  • Provides insight, recommendations and develop processes and best practices as it relates to the HRIS system and workflows.
  • Remains current on HR systemsโ€™ functionality and actively seeks ways in which to leverage them.
  • Participates in research for HRIS vendors that support organizational needs.

As the Trade Compliance Analyst, you will ensure that international trade activities adhere to all applicable import/export laws and regulations, minimizing risk and facilitating the smooth flow of goods across borders.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Documentation Management: Review, prepare, and manage all necessary import and export documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, and shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage multiple suppliers and strategies In Chassis and Suspension Commodities using all-encompassing purchasing tactics
  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers
  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality and delivery
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable commercial conditions and capacity
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and requirements
  • Monitoring market trends and industry development to identify opportunities for efficiencies and/or risk management.
