As an English language coach under the guidance of department leadership, you will collaborate with academic services and institutional effectiveness to provide on-ground and virtual English language support. You will work under the direction of the associate director of SCADextra to develop and deliver workshops, one-on-one coaching, and other student-focused programs that ensure proficiency in English-related subjects. This includes creating online workshops, presentation aids, and coaching session materials such as videos, self-guided training modules, and other interactive content. Additionally, to offer supplemental support in the English language, you will use the university’s evaluation and assessment cycle to identify areas where workshop and coaching content needs improvement.
In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for the SCAD Language Studio (SLS) and will connect students with English language workshops, one-on-one coaching, and other resources. Responsibilities include the completion of classroom visits to promote and align SCADextra English language programs and tutoring with course content and student needs. Among other duties, you will analyze TEDU and student referral data to enhance and expand English-language services in response to student demand. In this position, you will maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date archive of all workshop, presentation, and coaching materials. You will also keep precise records of coaching activities for accreditation and institutional assessment purposes and act as an ambassador for SCADextra. Furthermore, you will collaborate with different departments, locations, and learning modalities to promote the university's success and support its students.

Minimum qualifications:

Position Overview
The College Access & Success Coach plays a critical role in preparing and supporting TETC students as they transition from high school into postsecondary pathways, with a primary focus on college and university enrollment. The Coach provides individualized guidance, resources, and programming to ensure students - especially those pursuing STEM, especially engineering, pathways - are informed, prepared, and empowered to achieve their higher education goals.
In addition to supporting 12th-grade students through the full college access process—including applications, FAFSA/TASFA, and enrollment, the College Access & Success Coach will also provide light-touch postsecondary support to TETC alumni to promote college persistence and successful transitions into career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Student Advising & Support
- Provide one-on-one and group advising on college selection, application processes and strategies, admissions requirements, and deadlines.
- Support students in completing college applications, FAFSA/TASFA, scholarship searches, and financial aid applications.

The employee will handle both incoming and outgoing calls.
- The employee will use specific sales tools to manage the database and sales leads. Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, business architecture, or digital transformation.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into executable roadmaps and capability models.
- Strong understanding of organizational change concepts, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training.
- Experience in conducting discovery workshops, business analysis, and backlog creation.
- Exposure to agile delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing with business and technology stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business architecture tools such as BPMN, capability mapping tools, or enterprise modeling platforms is a plus.
