Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents, assist with rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care in our long-term care and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents’ health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support residents’ recovery goals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid LPN license
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- BLS/CPR certification required.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Assist hiring managers in defining their strategic workforce needs as a foundation for understanding recruitment objectives. As well as defining the qualities, characteristics and KSAs for positions open for recruitment.
- Reviews search strategies with MVHS hiring managers to determine sourcing options for talent stream development, developing and leveraging appropriate sourcing approaches and methods to develop the sourcing talent pool of high match candidates.
- In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition/Sourcing Specialist and the hiring manager, writes talent sourcing campaign materials specific to each individualized search, and targeted to high potential candidates from a ‘candidate value’ perspective. Reviews campaign materials with manager prior to posting.
- Daily tracks and reviews candidates received through sourcing methods for match with position specifications for each search campaign, and timely reaches out to applicants and managers regarding potential candidacy for each search.
- Routinely confers with hiring manager(s) on talent campaign status and slate of available candidates to assess effectiveness of talent campaign, updating and improving campaign approaches and methods as needed.
- Assist hiring manager in scheduling individual or team behavior interviews, preparing interview guides and scoring guides as needed. Assist in training behavioral interview teams on interview process, legal issues involved in interviewing, and on utilization of interview and guides to evaluate candidates’ potential for performance against expectations.
- Serves as routine contact for applicants and candidates in assigned areas to ensure high engagement throughout the interview, selection and on boarding process.
- Assesses candidates with hiring manager in preparation for candidate selection, verifying quality selection process.
- Assist the hiring manager in continuing onboarding contacts with selected candidate, including supervisor and team welcome note, pre-orientation onboarding material, orientation information, and other related candidate engagement interactions.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in business administration, HR or closely related field.
- An associate degree in business administration, HR or closely related field along with four (4) years of direct experience in healthcare recruitment may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum one (1) year recruitment experience
Preferred:
- PRC certification

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool/Spa Service Technician & Repair Technician
This role involves overseeing pool and spa maintenance operations and/or providing expert repair services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with equipment repair, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties
* Perform comprehensive pool cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance tasks
* Diagnose and repair equipment issues involving pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool/spa components
* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively when needed,
* Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all maintenance activities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service operations
Requirements
* Certified Pool Operator License required. DO NOT APPLY without active CPO.
* Active and VALID drivers license; clean driving record preferred.
* Proven experience as a service technician with commercial and residential experience.
* Strong mechanical knowledge of pool/spa systems and related machinery

Ready to take your lifeguarding and leadership skills to the next level? The City of Kirkland is hiring an Aquatic Program Supervisor (APS) to lead our aquatics team at the Peter Kirk Pool and Kirkland's three public swimming beaches this summer.
In this key leadership role, you'll mentor and train lifeguards, oversee swim lessons, provide exceptional customer service, and help keep the community safe and confident in the water. This is a hands-on, rewarding opportunity to build your leadership experience, guide a dedicated team, and make a real difference in the lives of swimmers of all ages.
This is a leadership position that requires previous senior lifeguarding experience. Join us to mentor new lifeguard staff, support Senior Lifeguards in developing their leadership abilities, and continue building your own leadership skills, all while promoting water safety and serving your community this summer!
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills are required.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public to acknowledge both compliments and complaints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated good judgement in problem solving and responding to customer needs.
- Proficiency in standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite applications Word, Excel and Outlook
Qualifications
- A current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is required on or before the first day of employment.
- Minimum of one season of aquatics experience as a senior lifeguard, senior instructor or equivalent.
- Minimum 19 years of age.
- Must be able to pass the Aquatics Skill Checks.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act
- May be required to possess a Washington State driver's license and submit a driving abstract, depending on area of assignment in order to drive a City vehicle for official job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARC Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and/or Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certifications preferred.

Special Note

Hours of Work
Employee may work daytime, evenings and weekends, depending on programming needs and facility coverage, mid-May to mid-September. Work schedule and needs may fluctuate during periods of low attendance and poor weather days. Must be available to work on July 4th
