Essential Functions: Performs daily set up and delivery of approved courses of radiotherapy in a timely and accurate manner. Assumes care for physical and psychological needs of patients during treatment delivery. Observes clinical progress of patients and reports signs of complications according to policy and procedure. Performs simulations on new treatment areas to define exact parameters as prescribed by Radiation Oncology using professional knowledge and skills for optimum treatment Perform basic nursing skills according to policy and procedure. Assist physician in patient follow‐ups, weekly check‐ups and initial consultation. Scheduling of daily treatments, transportation provided by STC, treatment planning exams and other diagnostic procedures Provides dosimetry services in conjunction with the medical physicist. Detects and reports equipment malfunctions, while ensuring patient safety and timely repair of equipment Contacts service provider to initiate repair of equipment within time frame to lest compromise patient treatment and safety. Provides input for equipment and supply purchase decisions. Performs inventory control, inventory documentation and purchase of supplies for assigned area as appropriate. Assists in the maintenance of patient records as required, including the requisitioning, retrieving and filing of charts and other files. Maintains accurate patient records, all documentation is according to prescribed policy and procedure, complete and legible. Helps ensure correct patient billing and maintaining accurate billing records. Verification of 800’s (audits/summary of patient charges), performed with fellow therapist and/or oncology nurse. Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of center, in particular, radiation work area. Willingly answers telephones and directs calls appropriately. Therapists clarifies, if needed, physician prescribed course, prior to treatments. Assumes responsibility for continuing education relevant to personal and professional learning needs. Takes part in public and professional education and cancer prevention and screening programs as appropriate. Participates in CTS specialty committees and staff meetings. Participates in the quality improvement activities of CTS. Demonstrates professional image, attitude and behaviors consistent with the philosophy of CTS as well as the radiation therapy profession. Performs accurate dose calculations and assists they physics staff with chart checks as needed by policy and procedure. Responsible for attending all annual education programs as required by the position. Immobilizes patient as necessary according to prescribed policy and procedure. Utilizes beam directional devices according to policy and procedure. Operates therapeutic equipment according to policy and procedure. Operates simulator and radiographic imaging equipment according to policy and procedure. Utilizes wedge and compensation filters, as applicable. Performs and documents daily, weekly, monthly, semi‐annual and annual quality checks in accordance with policy and procedure and regulations. Transport patients to and from Radiation therapy as needed. Practices aseptic techniques as needed according to policy and procedure. Perform tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and standard precautions. Manipulation of patient and equipment requires some physical effort and strain, pushing, lifting ‐ special requirements.

This role will work closely with the engineering group and will provide support to sales, estimating, and production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural analysis and engineering design principles for both gravity and lateral systems with various building materials including wood and steel. The role provides structural engineering support and services to multiple modular manufacturing facilities around the United States. This position is remote with minimal travel required.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the engineering team (or individually) to move a project through the structural design phase
  • Provide a complete structural calculations package for the entire design of modular units both individually and as a multi-unit complex for the state submission of each project
  • Structural calculations are to include a comprehensive design of the modular unit for both the gravity and lateral systems
  • Gravity designs consist of roof framing members, bearing walls, continuous span multi-layer plywood beams, structural steel clean-span trusses, engineered posts, built-up posts, HSS structural steel posts, floor joists, and wide flange structural steel chassis members

Field Service Specialist – Decoking Systems

Position Summary

The Field Service Specialist is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization of highly specialized decoking systems at refinery sites worldwide. This role combines advanced technical expertise, hands‑on mechanical and electrical work, system integration, customer support, and professional communication. The specialist represents the company as a system expert and ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex decoking equipment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & System Assembly

- Install pump units and all related subsystems, including motors, gearboxes, turbines, coolers, lube oil units, mechanical seals, and oil supply systems.

- Install and align decoking control valves, piping, pump control panels, and soft starters.

- Assemble complete decoking equipment: winches, pulley blocks, crossheads, drill stems, drill stem drives, guide devices, cutting tools, enclosures, and instrumentation.

- Inspect and verify customer equipment such as coker tower beams, guide rails, latching systems, and position switches.

- Perform site-specific modifications, especially for non‑standardized or customer‑dependent decoking equipment.


2. Pre‑Commissioning & Commissioning

- Perform mechanical and electrical inspections of all installed components.

- Execute functional tests of pump units, lube oil systems, control valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and complete decoking equipment.

- Conduct full system commissioning, including pump performance testing, vibration and temperature monitoring, and parameter adjustment.

- Guide and instruct control system programmers, including parameter optimization and troubleshooting.

- Train customer personnel under real refinery operating conditions.


3. Maintenance, Repairs & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and repair pumps, valves, winches, gearboxes, crossheads, pulley blocks, cutting tools, and other decoking components.

- Perform damage analysis, component measurement, refurbishment, reassembly, and functional validation.

- Prepare technical inspection reports and explain results clearly to customers.


4. Revamps, Turnarounds & Non‑Standard Installations

- Integrate non-standard or legacy equipment into existing decoking systems during revamps.

- Plan and manage turnaround activities together with internal teams or customer personnel.


5. Customer Interaction & Technical Support

- Conduct customer meetings and coordinate all site activities in English.

- Provide system demonstrations, handover activities, and long‑term technical support.

- Monitor customer requirements, analyze product weaknesses, and report system improvements internally.


Required Competencies & Skills

Technical Skills

- Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in refinery environments.

- Ability to read P&IDs, electrical diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting capabilities.

- Expertise in operating and commissioning complex decoking systems.


Personal Skills

- High communication skills in English (and ideally German).

- Strong teamwork and customer service mindset.

- Flexibility, independence, and readiness for high-intensity work environments.
