The Solis Group is seeking a full-time Senior Project Scheduler for a transit construction program in San Antonio, TX. This is a remote/hybrid position with three days per month in San Antonio. Previous transit experience is strongly preferred.
Specific responsibilities include managing and/or creating program master schedules from preliminary and ongoing project information. The Senior Project Scheduler will review contractor schedules for accuracy and logic, comparing them to what is happening in the field, and report schedule status to all stakeholders on a monthly basis. This may involve training contractor schedulers on scheduling software and best practices. The Senior Project Scheduler will develop and maintain documentation with the goal of avoiding or mitigating potential claims. This individual may also be responsible for producing cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
Applicants should have familiarity with the current version of Primavera P6 and other applicable software platforms, such as MS Office, MS Projects, enterprise database platforms specific to the construction industry (Oracle, etc.), and document management platforms. Applicants should also demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Previous transit experience is a plus.

About the Role:
The Scheduler works with the Project Management team and Superintendents to create, record and review project schedules. 9. Enters order sets for procedures while coordinating with physician offices and performing departments. Reviews for accuracy to ensure all orders needed are entered and available.
10. Documents pre-certification/authorization/referral information when applicable.
11. *Prepares and provides patients with an estimate, if one is warranted, for their expected services. Collects and/or counsels on expected payment due.
12. *Keeps Patient Service Center and Scheduling Manager informed of issues related to procedures including but not limited to: necessary questionnaire revisions, updates related to departmental requests and need for new or revised procedure(s) build.
13. *Responsible for preceptoring and /or resourcing of peers.
14. *Assesses employee competencies and level of performance; cross trains employees into specialized areas and documents training.
15. Collaborates with management to plan and communicate changes to the work group.
16. *Serves as a liaison in building and maintaining professional relationships between physicians, physician office staff and other health care personnel.
17. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
18. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
19. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current Registered licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience required. Experience with hospital/health operations and general background in all areas of nursing practice preferred.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Evaluates non-emergency work requests, develops scope of work, and inspects job location to determine job requirements.
· Estimates labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment and special tools required to complete proactive jobs in a safe and efficient manner.
· Gathers relevant technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, specifications, spare parts lists from equipment histories, OEM manuals and the Knowledgebase system. Verifies the availability of parts prior to scheduling the job. Arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment when required.
· Maintains an organized and prioritized work order backlog to determine the next highest priority jobs to be planned next and maintains the Ready Backlog at or above 80%.
· Employs the continuous improvement process to update Job Plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
· Conducts weekly planning & scheduling meetings with Production to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status and alter planned maintenance activities if necessary.
· Creates a Weekly Technician Schedule that includes priority planned jobs and preventative maintenance tasks that utilize 100% of the available technician labor hours.
· Improves work order planning and scheduling effectiveness through the review process and use of the maintenance metrics.
· Maintains records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters.
· Trains site employees on CMMS and ensures that it is working with integrity and is being utilized.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
· Associate Degree required in a technical field with 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 – 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both
· Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment
· Electrical/mechanical aptitude
· Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications including Microsoft Office
· Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
· Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships
