The Order Filler / Shipping Clerk is responsible for picking, packing and shipping of materials out of the warehouse to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Picks, packs and ships outbound shipments efficiently, effectively and in a safe manner
* Manages work area and restocks product as needed.
* Prepacks product in smaller packaging that requires breakdown from bulk packaging.
* Assists in cycle count and full physical inventory as needed.
* Rotates stock according to receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration.
* Identifies short-dated materials upon receipt (less than 90 days of shelf life) and reports to the Warehouse Manager to determine any possible actions that may need to be taken.
* Analyzes current procedures in place and makes recommendations for process improvements to the Warehouse Manager.

*Job Requirements*
* Must have graduated with a Master's degree of equivalent in Speech-language pathology from an accredited school and have a valid speech-language pathologist state license in good standing (based on state specific requirements). It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain active licensing/certifications throughout their time of employment;
* Previous therapy experience is preferred, with some of that experience in a long-term care facility;
* Must provide all necessary documentation in accordance with the company's new hire process to evidence eligibility for employment and pass a criminal background check; BLS CPR certification as required by state law, but recommended for all therapists.

*Summary of Principal Accountabilities*
* Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities and swallowing skills of residents by providing, directing and/or overseeing speech therapy screening of residents as appropriate, and evaluation and treatment of residents who may benefit from therapy services. The SLP develops the initial treatment plan of care with revisions to the plan of care as needed throughout the resident's stay.
* Comply with best practice industry standards as well as state and federal laws and regulations regarding accurate and timely billing in each resident's medical record.
* Maintain completeness of each assigned resident's medical record by completing all assigned evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, clarification orders, etc. according to posted schedules for the shift, making sure entries are timely, informative and accurate.
* Establish and maintain professional and positive working relationships with residents which reflects person-centered care. Honor the resident's rights and provide care in a manner that promotes resident dignity and privacy.
* Coordinate/collaborate on resident care with other members of the interdisciplinary and therapy teams. This may include attending or providing updates for resident care conferences and utilization review/case management meetings, reporting changes in resident condition or allegations of abuse, and making referrals to other members of the interdisciplinary and therapy teams as appropriate.
* Coordinate and oversee referral process for swallow studies with outside providers/specialists.
* Remain professionally informed and enhance clinical expertise as well as professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists and other professional staff, continuing education courses/trainings, and attendance at facility in-services and trainings. Implement new programs/techniques to enhance speech therapy rehabilitation services.

Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Knowledge of speech/language development, special education regulations, trauma-informed care, and behavior management
- Experience with RTI/MTSS, early childhood development, autism, and assistive technology preferred
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively across disciplines
- Willingness to travel between Urbana and Rossville campuses as needed

The Speech Language Therapist or Clinical Fellow will be responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. If a Clinical Fellow, they will be supervised by an onsite Speech Language Pathologist as per protocol until they obtain their SLP license following the completion of the Clinical Fellowship. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability. This position may also provide coverage at other affiliated locations as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Acute Care
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Skilled Nursing
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech therapy services in Outpatient
- Documents appropriately in the medical record for all speech-language pathology treatments, assessments and evaluations performed for inpatient and outpatient care
- Submits timely reports to the ordering Physician and updates the Rehabilitation Director daily and /or weekly on ST caseload that is being treated
- Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality by performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety
Location: Hillsdale Hospital in Hillsdale, MI
Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, in the hospital (skilled nursing unit and inpatient) and outpatient as needed.
Rehab Department Hours: Operating hours for the hospital are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, and Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Outpatient hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm. Software systems utilized include Agile (Outpatient), Brightree/Matrix (Home Health), NetHealth (SNF), and CPSI (Inpatient).

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology obtained prior to start date
