Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of engineering assignments in developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues resolving tooling and production process problems while optimizing efficiency and eliminating downtime.
Evaluates process flow and plant layout recommending and implementing improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations and equipment utilization in order to improve thru-put, reduce labor/manufacturing costs and improve safety.
Develops costs for test production data; prepares technical analysis, recommends production methods and processes required to meet design objectives.
Reviews proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernized production/processing equipment and monitors equipment upgrades and improvements.
Continuously monitors operations to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
Coordinates and develops manufacturing schedules for projects.
Develops the PFMEA’s control plans and schedules.
Performs line validation and trial run management.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Strong technical and analytical ability.
Project management and organizational skills preferred.
Manufacturing experience in lean and cell manufacturing, process improvement, and equipment development, equipment buy offs, direct equipment installations, daily support, and debug.
Experience working with customers and sales preferred.
Ability to work with and communicate at all levels of manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a mechanical or manufacturing engineer role

About the Role
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to help build and maintain the backend services and API’s that power our proprietary AI SaaS CRM and LMS platforms.
You will work directly with our CTO, collaborate with the engineering team, and partner closely with our Product Manager to design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems.
Our backend services are built primarily with:
- NestJS (TypeScript)
- Python
- Deployed across multiple AWS environments
This is a hands-on backend engineering role focused on API development, cloud deployment, distributed systems, and production-grade reliability.The role has meaningful ownership - not just ticket execution.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the CTO on backend design and implementation decisions
- Partner closely with a Product Manager on sprint planning, backlog grooming, translating product requirements into technical solutions, and prioritizing customer-impacting improvements
- Design, build, and maintain backend API services using NestJS (TypeScript)
- Build and support backend services in Python
- Develop and maintain production-grade RESTful APIs
- Contribute to multi-environment deployments across AWS
- Use Terraform to manage our IAC
- Work with CI/CD workflows and structured deployment procedures
- Follow and contribute to engineering documentation including development guidelines, environment configuration standards, security practices, and versioning and changelog management
- Implement and support asynchronous and event-driven systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D piping plans, sections, and isometrics using software like AutoCAD.
Develop and update piping & instrumentation diagrams and line lists.
Build CAD models for equipment and new piping systems based on field measurements.
Prepare, transmit and expedite shop drawings, catalog cuts, samples and other submittals for approval. Maintain logs for all.
Coordinate design activities with the project management team to resolve layout conflicts.
Prepare construction document packages.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of all drawings to ensure technical accuracy and code compliance.
Perform field surveys, including manual dimensions, to gather data on existing site conditions.
Provide technical support to construction personnel and fabricators during installation.
Assist in preparing material takeoffs (MTOs) and bill of material (BOM) estimates for procurement.
Helps track project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
Required Skills
Associates in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. With 3–5+ years in piping design or mechanical construction.
Mastery of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of SpoolFab Piping Software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
