Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D piping plans, sections, and isometrics using software like AutoCAD.
Develop and update piping & instrumentation diagrams and line lists.
Build CAD models for equipment and new piping systems based on field measurements.
Prepare, transmit and expedite shop drawings, catalog cuts, samples and other submittals for approval. Maintain logs for all.
Coordinate design activities with the project management team to resolve layout conflicts.
Prepare construction document packages.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of all drawings to ensure technical accuracy and code compliance.
Perform field surveys, including manual dimensions, to gather data on existing site conditions.
Provide technical support to construction personnel and fabricators during installation.
Assist in preparing material takeoffs (MTOs) and bill of material (BOM) estimates for procurement.
Helps track project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
Required Skills
Associates in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. With 3โ5+ years in piping design or mechanical construction.
Mastery of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of SpoolFab Piping Software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
Strong understanding of industrial piping codes (e.g., ASME, API) and material specifications.
Familiarity with pipe fitting, joining methods, and fabrication processes.
High attention to detail and precision in drafting.

Emphasizing a one-team approach, Calcon offers preconstruction, design/build, construction management, and general contracting services. A Project Engineer is charged with the responsibility of providing technical support to the Project Manager and Superintendent on a project to ensure safe projects and desirable outcomes for our Clients and Company. Since nearly all of our work is negotiated with repeat and referral clients we must ensure that our projects are well planned whether they are small or large.
General responsibilities include:
* Act as the primary point of contact with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to ensure work is completed in conformance with project drawings and specifications.
* Assist with pre-construction tasks.
* Coordinate project documents (RFI's, submittals, drawings, etc...), and monitor timely turn-around on these same items.
* Review submittals making sure they are accurately reviewed and coordinated, & materials are being procured in conformance with the project schedule.
* Identify any missing information from construction documents and work through those differences with project team members (Owners, Calcon, subcontractors, Architects).
* Aid in the preparation of subcontracts / purchase agreements for projects.
* Coordinate subcontractors' work schedules with the project Superintendent.
* Monitor project safety requirements.
* Perform project closeout in conformance with the contract and to the Owners satisfaction.
* Foresee potential problems and organize the team to avoid/resolve issues before they impact the project(s).
* Resolve common project problems to maintain good business relationships and outcomes for Calcon.
* Assist during preconstruction and estimating. Duties to include quantity take-offs and bid leveling
* Assist with project schedule and associated schedule updates in conjunction with the project superintendent.
Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management with 1-2 years' experience.
* Intern experience required
* Solid computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and scheduling software.

Job Summary: The Project Engineer position will provide effective and efficient support to the project's field management team and support assigned projects or project areas, along with supporting the Superintendent and Project Manager on an assigned project or multiple projects. The position will perform routine daily activities and assists in gathering and distributing information to team members and subcontractors.

Seeking an Experienced Product Lifecycle Process Engineer to support the installation and validation of loadable software on aircraft and in lab or production environments. This role collaborates with Design Engineers and Production Engineers to ensure procedures meet hardware/software requirements and safety standards, and to deliver clear, repeatable loading procedures, robust troubleshooting, and up-to-date user guides. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on Airplane Systems experience, strong technical writing skills, and a commitment to operational reliability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install loadable software on aircraft platforms and bench test environments in accordance with approved procedures.
- Develop clear, step-by-step loading procedures and instructions for both on-aircraft and bench scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineers for each system to ensure loading procedures align with hardware/software requirements and safety standards.
- Validate and verify loading procedures through testing, design reviews, and field trials; capture results and implement improvements.
- Maintain and update user guides, procedure documents, and training materials as software and hardware evolve.

The Boeing Electromagnetic Effects (E3) Group seeks Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineers at Associate (Level 2), Experienced (Level 3), and Expert (Level 4) levels. This role will primarily be responsible for supporting engineering design, integration, test, certification, and hardware/software management for assigned mission systems avionics sub-systems.The Boeing KC-46 Pegasus is the USAF's new aerial refueling tanker aircraft designed to support multi-role missions including refueling, cargo/passenger transport, and medevac airlift.
The KC-46 is a military commercial derivative aircraft based on the Boeing 767-2 C aircraft and modified per USAF specifications for the primary mission of aerial refueling US and Allied aircraft using either the Hose & Drogue systems or the Boom.
