Description
The Senior Principal Engineer provides technical thought leadership and hands-on execution in securing Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified (CASE) mobility solutions and digital services. This role focuses on end-to-end (E2E) vehicle ecosystem security, including embedded systems, cloud platforms, and mobile applications, ensuring privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles are embedded throughout.
Essential Functions:
•Product cybersecurity technical thought leadership in the research, design, development, manufacturing, and/or operations of the Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified mobility solutions and digital services.
•Creation & facilitation of automotive threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) for the end-to-end (E2E) vehicle ecosystem (embedded, cloud, mobile app).
•Individual contributor executing the roles and responsibilities of an engineering technical lead across multiple projects, processes, and teams. Support activities include:
•Working with stakeholders to understand timeline, input/output, dependencies, etc.
•Technical experience to understand any “impediments” the team may experience
•Work with external stakeholders to remove “impediments” from the team
•Hands-on work to complete TARA, system requirements, system reference architectures for E2E vehicle ecosystem
•Creation & facilitation of technical reference architectures to quickly enable biz divisions to implement solutions that align w/ privacy-by-design & security-by-design.
•Execute the roles and responsibilities of an individual contributor across multiple projects and teams independently with very little oversight required.
•Liaise with line of business leaders and general other risk functions to deliver program needs within business units.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is strongly desired.
•8+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with an emphasis on cybersecurity expertise with identifying risks & designing countermeasures for embedded systems, cloud systems, and mobile app.
•4+ years of experience in automotive, manufacturing, internet of things (IOT), and/or software industries
•Systems, hardware, and/or software engineering and cybersecurity subject matter expert with hands-on engineering development and technical leadership experience.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to technical peers and management.
•Strong technical competence in MS tool suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions
Preferred Skills:
•OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other related/equivalent certification

Position Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for leading the QC team and ensuring that all inspection and testing activities comply with ISO 9001 standards and company quality objectives. What you will do:

- Ensure all QC staff are trained in proper handling of equipment, chemical safety, and emergency procedures.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

* Communicate with Supply Chain or commercial teams on issues as needed. Ensure all applicable customer complaints are investigated and resolved.
* Work with Process Technology and Pilot Plant operations to support process/product development.
* Successfully support the scale-up of new products to support new business opportunities.
* Manage multiple costs centers associated with the above departments. Includes PO approvals as needed to maintain operations. Review and follow-up on monthly expense items to address overruns
* Work with Operations Support to manage capital plan for the department. This includes planning, project selection, prioritization, justification, and implementation. Projects should support safety improvements, maintain equipment and support business growth.
* Directly communicate with product and business leaders as needed.

- The Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities required to direct and control the organization's activities impacting quality as delivered to our customers for the JCI Airside Center of Excellence (ACE) in our York, PA facility.
- They are responsible for the Quality Management System in the facility and will continuously monitor/improve the system.
- The job function covers all operational aspects of the facility; they will manage all quality efforts relating to assembly areas in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with specified business requirements.
How you will do it:
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization by maintaining a constant awareness of the customer's perspective from a QA standpoint, this includes collecting and analyzing performance data against defined parameters.
- Develops and implements plans for overall defect-reduction programs, monitors their effectiveness and implements appropriate adjustments.
- Brings together staff of different disciplines and leads the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures, including APQP concepts.
- Works methodically to establish a clearly defined system that all staff can apply and incorporate.
- The Manager interfaces with customers for resolution of any problems with finished goods, including in-process or final product acceptance documents. Acts as the key contact with customers' auditors and takes responsibility for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications.

- Evaluates discrepant materials, conducts MRB and leads the plant management team in dispositioning materials and driving appropriate corrective actions
- Works with Purchasing to establish and maintain quality requirements for external suppliers. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation, this includes adjudication of vendor claims for recovery of monies that result from vendor-related quality problems.
- The Manager recruits, retains, manages and conducts performance evaluations for subordinate personnel to ensure a well-qualified and motivated department.
What we look for:
This position requires a BS in Engineering or a BS Equivalent in a technical field, with a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment in the role of Quality Control Manager or Senior Engineer.
- ISO 9001 lead auditor certification required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) required, Minitab or similar statistical analysis software preferred.
- ASQ CQM certification preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- This position is 100% in office, no remote or hybrid work is possible.
- Approximately 10% travel required.
