Responsibilities:

• The process technician level II will have a primary focus on plant logistic support. With this, the incumbent will have to come to our site and learn about our state-of-the-art glass making process and then assist us in creating routings for our process.
• This includes entering production information into our facility data system and maintaining other data sources as required.
• This position will involve the transportation of parts (making sure the parts are in the right location and move throughout the plant as planned).
• This will include making sure we have all the supplies needed to handle and move the parts within the plant and to our suppliers.
• Also this position will work with many engineers and scientists to understand the new product flows throughout the plant so they can develop the new routes in our production system.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Senior Commercial Process Engineer – Compounding/Blending (Formulating) is responsible for the development, continuous improvement, optimization, and technical support of manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Key responsibilities include the hands-on leading technology of transfers, troubleshooting deviations, performing process validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the product lifecycle. This role will be an integral member of the team that develops and brings new products to market, as well as drive process improvement for current products.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Analyze commercial process monitoring data to identify trends, conduct technical investigations, and implement engineering solutions to improve yield, quality, and efficiency.

Technology Transfer:

• Directly lead or support the transfer of new products and processes from R&D or other sites to commercial manufacturing, including conducting gap analyses and risk assessments.

Validation & Documentation:

• Author and execute validation protocols for process validation, cleaning validation, and equipment qualification. Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including user requirements, SOPs, and reports.

Troubleshooting & Deviation Management:

• Investigate technical issues, lead Root Cause Analyses, and support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) for deviations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and Project Management teams to achieve project objectives and ensure successful process implementation.

Compliance & Regulatory Support:

• Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and GMP standards. Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.

Equipment & Engineering Support:

• Define user requirements for new process equipment and participate in Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and commissioning for new systems.

QUALIFICATION:

Engineering Expertise:

• A degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with compounding and processing liquids, creams, ointments, emulsions and aerosols.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in statistical tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and data analysis, with strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Thorough understanding of GMP and other relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations.

Problem-Solving:

• Ability to conduct technical investigations and lead problem-solving initiatives to resolve complex manufacturing issues while operating within project completion deadlines.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Lean/Six Sigma:

• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for driving continuous improvement.
• Black Belt Certification a plus

Dancers: Our shows mix traditional musical theatre and jazz with hip hop and even dance team styles of choreography. Are you a tumbler? Are you a classically trained ballerina? Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes. 

Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.

The ideal candidate will have some prior industry experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in clean room environments such as pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or other controlled settings. Familiarity with gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements is essential. The role involves material handling responsibilities, including moving materials between areas, cleaning raw materials, retrieving and storing inventory, and operating electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers. While forklift certification is a plus, it is not required.

Job Details:

• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).

• Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.

How you'll contribute

A Clinical Liaison who excels in this role:

• Assist and coordinate intake and pre-admission screening process.
• Perform on-site (typically in referring facility) clinical judgment to determine appropriateness of patient for admission.
• Communicates to patients and families rehabilitation and facility options. Communicates to patients, determines appropriate for admission, the patient's expectations and requirements for participation.
• Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth, development, and the aging process for the planning and delivery of age-appropriate care.
• Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities.
• Completes face-to-face, in-service education contacts to physicians. And face-to-face in-service educational contacts to case managers and other professionals.
• Inform and educate physicians, case managers, and other decision makers about the Hospital and acute rehabilitation services.
• Performs market analysis, market research, and development and implementation of marketing and business plans.
• Assists in developing the facility's annual market plan.
• Develops marketing plans for assigned programs, which include market analysis and financial feasibility studies.
• Assists the facility's various departments with new business and marketing plans.
• Continuously monitors the effectiveness of new and existing marketing plans.
• Represents the facility with business leaders, physicians, the community, and the media.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills within the facility and with the public.
• Communicates appropriately and clearly with the Director of Business Development and the marketing staff.
• Consults other departments, as appropriate, to collaborate on marketing and business plans.
