Director of Reverse Logistics
The Director of Reverse Logistics is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational execution of the companyβs reverse supply chain ecosystem including product returns, refurbishment, recycling, and warranty fulfillment. This leader will be a visionary with a track record of enhancing customer experience, optimizing operations, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy
- Define and implement a long-term strategy for reverse logistics operations that aligns with broader business objectives.

- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless issue resolution and a hassle-free return experience.
3. Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to return rates, processing times, inventory recovery value, and customer resolution speed.
- Implement root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies to identify the underlying issues driving excessive returns, quality defects, and process inefficiencies.
- Develop cost-reduction strategies to optimize transportation, labor, and inventory management expenses.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, refurbishing programs, and responsible disposal practices.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain and transportation risks, ensuring business continuity in the face of disruptions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the key liaison between operations, customer service, and IS to enhance returns and RTV processes.
- Conduct regular cross-functional meetings to track vendor performance, troubleshoot inefficiencies, and improve coordination.
- Ensure alignment between customer service teams and RTV policies to reduce disputes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide executive-level reporting on return rates, vendor performance, financial impact, and process improvements.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks
- This position will be based out of our Midtown-NY office, with occasional travel required (as needed) to our Burlington-NJ Returns facility.
The incoming Pulmonary/Critical Care physician can expect to work 3 weeks each month.
Two weeks per month will be spent on the inpatient and outpatient pulmonology service.
15-25 patients per day in clinic; 20-30 patients in the hospital.
APP support available in both hospital and office.
Pulmonology is a consulting service only and does not admit.
Opportunity for bronchoscopy and EBUS as well as reading PFT studies.
Sleep work can be incorporated into Pulmonary weeks if desired.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure/Operations Engineer or similar role with hands-on responsibility for core infrastructure.
- Strong experience administering Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), including grid management, high availability, and role-based access.
- Solid experience with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (e.g., AOS, Prism, AHV or other hypervisors on Nutanix), including cluster operations and troubleshooting.
- In-depth experience with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022 or later), including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of DNS concepts and operations (zone types, record types, forwarding, split-brain DNS, reverse lookup zones, conditional forwarders, etc.).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancers) as they relate to DNS, DHCP, and virtualized infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting/automation (Ansible and Powershell).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for server and infrastructure health (e.g., OEM tools or APM/monitoring platforms).
- Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify root cause.
- Experience documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Summary/Objective
This position requires a highly motivated individual with extensive experience working in a Tool Room environment. The role demands strong knowledge of manual machining techniques (turning, grinding, milling) as well as CNC machines with MDI and Fanuc controls, including the ability to write programs when required. Candidates must demonstrate a solid background in fixture and gage building, at least 5 years of fixture design/repair experience, and the ability to contribute constructive input during fixture/tooling design reviews. Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T is essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision, fabricate, repair, and improve tools, jigs, fixtures, simple molds, gauges, and dies to the tolerances required for manufacturing processes.
- Work from engineering drawings, sketches, prototypes, and design documents to manufacture dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling, applying knowledge of materials, machining methods, assembly processes, and mathematics.
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, materials, and CNC programs in an organized and systematic manner to ensure proper process execution.
- Machine precision components by measuring, marking, and scribing stock; setting up and operating lathes, mills, drills, grinders, EDM, and CNC equipment when required.
- Inspect and verify component accuracy using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and other precision instruments.
- Assemble and fit dies by shaping, smoothing, and aligning components; secure assemblies with bolts, dowels, and fasteners; connect wiring or hydraulic lines as required.
- Reverse-engineer existing dies, fixtures, and tooling components to reproduce, modify, or improve designs where documentation is limited or unavailable.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on design improvements to enhance manufacturability, performance, and durability.
- Manage multiple tooling projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet production and quality requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and machines; follow manufacturer guidelines; coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain adequate supply levels by monitoring usage, forecasting needs, and coordinating material orders.
- Document tooling changes, repairs, and maintenance records to support workflow continuity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support lean manufacturing practices.
- Train and mentor apprentices or junior machinists in safe toolmaking practices and precision machining skills.
- Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and hazard-free; promote 5S practices.

The Regional Manager-Construction Operations manages OSP Construction Managers responsible for all day-to-day productivity and readiness of construction teams in their region. This position has ultimate responsibility for all Service Address and Production Footage delivery for each of the construction teams. This includes team readiness, equipment readiness, and project workload and completion. Provides leadership and drives safety, consistency, productivity, and quality necessary to meet or exceed all construction targets in their region.

Handles all escalations from local municipalities or adjacent TDS teams and communicates directly with business partners as appropriate. Assists the business unit Director with budget development and adherence and is responsible for an annual budget that includes headcount, equipment, vehicles, and project materials.
Responsibilities:
- Resource Management & Development: Hires, motivates, and provides leadership and guidance to a team of OSP Construction Managers. Responsible for overall team performance in meeting or exceeding production targets and quality control for service address delivery and footage production (varies by production type). Ensures that appropriate developmental and technical training programs are implemented and attended by all team members in respective region. Recognizes associates for achievements. Handles escalated associate issues in conjunction with Human Resources policies. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet on time completion of all construction projects.Β
- Technical Support: Provides technical direction and leadership for assigned markets and assists peers within adjacent teams as required. Monitors team and regional level production, safety, training, purchasing for assigned markets. Provides input into development of construction and safety processes and ensures compliance with overall policies and procedures. Assists in development of short- and long-range planning.
- Cost Assurance: Monitors all capital labor, material, and expense charges within respective region. Assists in the development of financial and budgetary objectives. Reviews and provides the assurance of results.
- Check in and visits: Expected to routinely check in and visit with all leaders and teams within identified region.
Qualifications:
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
- 5+ years in the telecom industry.
- 5+ years in a supervisory role or equivalent leadership experience.
Other Qualifications
- Strong technical background a plus. Should include an understanding of all aspects of OSP Construction: Fiber optic outside plant construction methods and best practices, trouble shooting, and common equipment installation and maintenance practices.
- Lightwave transmission system experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of all types of OSP Fiber Optic network builds designs, such as Β centralized split and distributed split (including optical tap).
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety requirements and guidelines as it relates to OSP Construction projects.
- Excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in fostering relationships and team building (i.e. teaching, coaching).
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a sense of urgency related to each separate issue.
- Ability to handle stressful network outages, and/or customer impacting situations in a calm manner.
