What You'll Do
Key responsibilities may include:
• Preventative Maintenance:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical systems.

Basic Job Functions: Nucor Skyline is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician.
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and all other systems.
• Performs skilled mechanical maintenance and industrial electrical (Preventative and Corrective) including installation, repairing, and troubleshooting.
• In downtime situations, must be able to analyze cause of breakdown with equipment.
• Determine and carry out maintenance of repair actions required to return the equipment to effective operating conditions.
• Follow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to facility safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will be an integral member of the Nucor Skyline team who brings a strong and consistent work ethic and demonstrates a commitment to follow all electrical/mechanical maintenance practices.
A successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a group, and be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as operating conditions require.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Summary: The Torpedo Technician II is responsible for the assembly, test, and troubleshooting on the alternator and regulator for the MK48 heavyweight torpedo.
The technician will be an integral part of the production team aiding in component checkout/test, product assembly, and full acceptance test of each unit prior to them being installed into a torpedo.
Responsibilities will include circuit checkout, shaft balance, tight tolerance assembly and environmental testing such as thermal cycling, vibration testing, and external pressure testing.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure assembly and tests of a product are per specification and meet all quality requirements.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure that information and data transfers effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the products throughout all processes.
Continuously improve procedures, processes and methods to ensure quality with zero defects and excursions.
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required as follows: Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent education certification.
Experience: Minimum three years of electro-mechanical technical experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or research and development environment.
