Requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent professional experience.
- 4–7+ years of experience in:
- Strategic sourcing or category management experience.
- Logistics sourcing, fleet sourcing, or heavy equipment categories.
- Experience with RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and contract management.
- Experience managing or sourcing vehicle fleets or logistics assets.
- Strong understanding of maintenance, uptime, and operational requirements.
- Exposure to TCO-driven decision-making.
- Strong exposure to road transport and time-critical logistics; air freight experience is a plus.
- Experience in Industrial Safety & PPE / Industrial Supplies, food logistics, FMCG, or similarly operationally intensive environments is highly desirable.

The Lead Cheese Maker will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality cheeses while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. A Lead Cheese Maker will also be evaluating and monitoring the cheese making process from start to finish, training and supporting assistant cheese makers and production staff. They direct production workers and monitor machinery to produce high-quality cheese products based on industry and company quality standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate cheese characteristics including flavor, body, texture, aroma, color, and appearance.
- Inspect and verify raw materials on the formulation sheet.
- Verifying raw materials meet process standards such as age.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment according to food safety regulations.
- Set-up, operate and maintain cheese-making equipment.
- Follow recipes and processes to produce a high-quality cheese product.
- Perform regular quality control checks and adjust recipes or production methods as necessary.
- Work closely with R&D, production, packaging, and QA teams to maintain consistent product quality.
- Provide feedback to Management and production team on trends or recurring quality issues.
- Assist in training new team members on sensory and quality standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Job Purpose:
The Kitchen Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and overseeing Quality Assurance procedures in food manufacturing operations for Ready-to-Eat products. This role ensures compliance with food safety and quality standards and serves as a point of contact for regulatory inspections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Supervise the Kitchen QA team during processing to verify compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Risk-Based Preventive Controls, Allergen Control, and SSOPs.
- Train associates on kitchen policies, departmental procedures, and job responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with customer food safety and hygiene requirements, product specifications, and proper documentation within the Kitchen QA department.
- Assist in researching and updating state Food Code regulations and maintaining Public Health Inspection reports.
- Oversee Kitchen QA Technicians and the Sanitation Lead.
- Regularly interact with Kitchen & Cheese Production Supervisors, the National QA Manager, the Kitchen/QA GM, the Cheese GM, the National Kitchen Manager, and the R&D Supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Food Quality Assurance
- HACCP certification required
- Preferred training in Allergen Control and GMPs
- Additional certifications such as SQF Practitioner, Food Defense Coordinator, and PCQI are a plus
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with minimum vendor GMP and food safety requirements.
- Conduct internal audits of kitchen operations and maintain readiness for third-party audits.
- Investigate and resolve customer store complaints in a timely manner.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies, including but not limited to FDA, USDA, and local health inspectors.

- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
Computer Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in environments with a maximum headroom of 72 inches.
- Work in refrigerated environments with temperatures ranging from 32°F to 36°F, as well as ambient temperature conditions.
- Must be able to stand for up to two hours at a time within an eight-hour shift.
- Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required.
