What you will do:
As an RT you will work at assessing, treating and caring for patients of all ages who suffer from pulmonary (breathing) disorders. In addition to analyzing and performing diagnostic testing, respiratory therapists perform relevant exams as well as set up and utilize cardiopulmonary equipment and machines needed to assist or monitor the patients breathing
Responsibilities:
- Gather data to be able to accurately assess a patient's current health status
- Assess the patient according to the patient's physical or age related needs
- Observe, record and report symptoms, reactions and progress of patients
- Administer and record prescribed medications, treatments and diagnostic procedures
- Responsible for airway management including performing endotracheal intubations and extubations, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care and emergency life support procedures
- Provides extensive health education to patients and to the general population through community services
What you will need:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current NY State RT License
Per Diem is offered a flat rate of $38.00/hour
Pay Range: $36.33 - $47.65
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the physical therapy care and treatment of patients in an effective and professional manner in accordance with Maryland State law and the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Practice and Ethics.
Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality care.
Therapists provide assessment and care for patients of all ages from the neonates through the geriatric patient.
Therapists utilize the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patients’ age to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Additional training may be required to work with specified groups of patients as determined by department guidelines and best practice.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
What you will need:
Current Maryland license verified by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Current CPR certification
Graduate of an accredited school with a B.S., M.S. or D.P.T. degree in Physical Therapy
Adheres to the APTA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics
Must be able to evaluate and treat patients in any hospital unit within professional scope of practice ads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems utilized for documentation, scheduling and charging systems.

Qualifications- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage

- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

PRACTICE SPECIFICS : 1.0 FTE, full-time status Monday-Friday schedule between 8a-5p; 36 patient contact hours in clinic/4.5 days Well-established and growing practice Anticipated outpatient volume: 15-20 patients/day with 2-3 procedures/day Inpatient setting will be provider-driven and is based at Regional Medical Center (adjacent to clinic).

- Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
- Work closely with Essentia Health leadership and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures and the code of conduct
- Meet professional organization core values, code of ethics, &/or scope of practice
- Work where the patient need is highest (including flexing to other departments) when home department schedule allows
- May serve as a clinical instructor, participate in department or therapy discipline committees, and complete credential/certification that would benefit patient care
Rural Healthcare:
- Provide patient care across multiple settings, which may include outpatient, inpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population with varying needs and conditions.
Schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, daytime hours.
