Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN, for a Steel Construction Project Manager. The Steel Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects. Responsibilities include for coordinating with the estimator, accounting department, purchasing manager, detailers, shop foreman, and others as well as going on site visits and attending jobsite meetings. Personnel Management

Summary: Burgess Services, a second-generation, privately-owned Construction Management Firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Supervisor. The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the organization's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements as prescribed by the owners. This is an overnight position that starts as temporary with the option to make permanent after six months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as other duties may be assigned:
Conduct safety orientation sessions for all employees, on-site workers and representatives.
Inform employees of their safety rights and responsibilities per regulations and the manual.
Coordinate and lead weekly safety meetings (toolbox talks).
Assist and participate field meetings when requested.
Coordinate and lead monthly safety meetings for supervisors (as needed).
Engage in Job Hazard Analysis and Pre-Task Planning, reviewing subcontractors’ safety programs.
Teach employees, all site workers regulatory training, special safety procedures as required by OSHA and the ROCIP IV manual.

Ensure Contractor management enacts disciplinary action in response to unsafe behavior.
Ensure adequate first aid supplies.
Coordinate and facilitate injury treatment for all on-site workers, provide modified duty within restrictions, and check in with injured employees weekly.
Inform DEN ROCIP Safety Team and Project Manager immediately of all injuries, including First Aid after ensuring treatment and securing the site and of any current or potential safety issues.
Provide injured employees with the Designated Medical Provider list before non-emergency or follow-up treatment, ensuring they choose an authorized facility and return the signed form. If an employee denies treatment, or they only wish to receive first aid on site, they must indicate so on the Designated Medical Provider Form, sign, date, and return it.
File the first report of injury with the insurance carrier within 12 hours of any employee seeking medical care, including subcontractor injuries.
Maintain proactive, professional, and collaborative safety partnership with DEN.
Review all safety submittals to ensure they meet contract requirements before submission to DEN, ensuring submissions come through the General Contractor's document control software.
Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas and provide results to DEN ROCIP Safety Team upon request, possibly using specified forms or programs.
Address all safety issues logged into ACC BUILD within 24 hours.
Compile and send safety statistical information to the DEN ROCIP Safety Team.
Participate in weekly construction meetings with DEN.
Attend quarterly safety meetings scheduled by the DEN ROCIP Safety Team.
Qualifications/Experience:
Must hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST with at least 8 years construction experience in HSE.
Must have completed the OSHA 500 course for construction within the last 24 months, remaining current for the duration of the project.
Must provide proof of non-expired completion of a Red Cross or approved equal for Cardio–Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
Must provide proof of completion of FMCSA compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training.
Must have knowledge of and ability to fulfill contractor safety representative’s responsibilities set forth in this Manual and the Contractor’s CSPP where applicable.
Computer literacy is required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including word processing software, delivery software, and basic Excel spreadsheet software.

Service Account Manager
The Service Account Manager is a vital part of the U.S. Engineering Service team that is responsible for sales and operations activities. Oversees all aspects of the service business for specific customers. It is the responsibility of the Service Account Manager to cultivate existing customer relationships, maintain and enhance service agreements, identify and sell additional service repair and project work, and work closely with other service team members to provide value to U.S. Engineering Company customers. The selected Service Account Manager will be located in either Topeka, KS or Manhattan, KS.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Overall responsible for account management, and customer satisfaction for specified customers.
- Responsible for selling, managing, and the renewal of preventative maintenance and other service agreement offerings for specified customers.
- Responsible for developing the appropriate repair or replacement approach, estimating repairs / replacements / services, and presenting proposals to specified service customers.
- Manages all assigned accounts to achieve sales plan volume and profitability goals.

Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC and/or PLUMBING systems as well as servicing of those systems.

- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required. This could include any of the below, or a combination of:
- Project management, service management, and sales within commercial and industrial environments in the mechanical construction industry.

- Propose concrete action plans to Management regarding training needs based on the frequency of problem types, audit findings, and inquiries from cusstomers. Also, deliver feedback on suggested policies and procedures to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with expense management tools and platforms.
- Provide guidance and training to card holders and Concur users as needed. Support them with any expense reporting issues. Questions must be handled with diplomacy, friendliness, accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
- Provide necessary reports and analyses to management, conduct sensitive investigations, and enforce compliance with Travel and Expense company policies.
- Support external audit efforts and maintain familiarity with SAP elements (e.g., chart of accounts, profit center and cost center hierarchies).
- Remain abreast of best practices and trends relevant to corporate card administration, shared services, and related technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Concur administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working within Corporate Card functions in a Shared Service.
- Proven track record in delivering high levels of customer service.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset.
- Familiarity designing and standardizing processes, preferably transactional activities
- Working knowledge of the building products/construction industry preferred
- Ability to navigate competing priorities from various stakeholders and make decisions while maintaining collaborative culture.

Job Summary
Under general supervision of Account Director, provides technical support and expertise to assigned customer. Conducts telephonic and electronic follow up and closing functions for open work orders on assigned accounts in order to meet the contractual obligations of the client. Intent is to ensure work orders are completed on time. This position will primarily involve handling customer communications on general trades-related work orders (with emphasis on plumbing, lighting, doors, and electrical repairs). Communications include but are not limited to keeping customers informed of work being performed at their location, providing updates to customers, and handling escalations. This position is the main point of contact for designated customers. Capabilities to understand and review quotes and provide recommendations for most effective, timely and cost conscious repairs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform administrative support to include work order management and scheduling, vendor management, purchase order coordination, reporting, and any other such task assigned by supervisors
- Provide technical direction and support to EMCOR Field Organization and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of all general trades-related work orders
- Respond to requests for maintenance and repair of facilities with an emphasis on plumbing, doors, and electrical situations affecting the facilities, etc.
- Maintain effective communications with employees, management, EFO/contractors, and customers as operations are 24/7.
- Assist customer and service providers with invoicing statuses and issues; escalate when appropriate
- Provide accurate reporting on open work orders for supervisor review as requested
- Document all work order related correspondence with customers and EFO/service providers to ensure files and work order history are always up to date and complete
- Will attend all required staff meetings and complete all required safety training
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general contractor trades maintenance and management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Windows Applications, including MS Excel and Word. Must be able to Type min 50 wpm and have good writing skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor, willing to go above and beyond to accomplish the mission
- Ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions with limited input; know when to escalate issues to leadership
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all functions of the Operations Team and Call Center to carry out objectives of the program
- Ability to think critically and problem solve

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools.
· Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment.
· Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.

· May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.

· Documents work performed in service reports, applicable management systems, and written explanation regarding observation and collected equipment performance data.
· Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams. Performs expert functions as a part of training and development.
· Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems.
· Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations.
· Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
· Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
· High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
· Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry.
· Possesses comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
· Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
· Extensive travel required. (Local, National, International)
Desirable KSAs:
· Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
· Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems.
