Summary:This position ensures excellent customer service through efficient and accurate job performance. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies on mobile truck and assures that the vehicle is clean. Ensures safe and on time delivery of the vehicle to the scheduled site and returned to the garage. Performs greeter role on blood drives. Completes all duties in a professional manner, including stripping and segmenting blood unit tubing and preparing units, samples, and donor medical records for shipment to the processing center efficiently and accurately.
Schedule: Hours vary from 5:00am - 10:00pm with rotating weekends. Flexibility in scheduling needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, transport, unload, load and return vehicles before and after assigned blood drives

Ensure exceptional customer service for donors and sponsors and proper processing of blood units (as directed by Operational Lead)

About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service commercial fleet customers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This is a field-based position. You will respond directly to customer locations and perform diagnostics and repairs independently. If you need constant supervision, this is not the role. We're looking for a self-starter who can diagnose, repair, and close jobs efficiently.
All work is billed by flag time/job rate — productivity and accuracy matter.
You will be issued a company service truck that can be taken home daily.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the mobile recreation program held at various park sites throughout Kirkland. Must be able to work as a team with other assigned staff and also independently with little supervision. Will perform and oversee the daily operations and activities, which include leading organized games, arts & crafts, and special events. Develops positive, supportive relationships with participants, parents, the public and other department staff. Conducts oneself in a professional manner that represents the City well; be involved and engaged in program & activities with the participants; use promotional materials that promote the program and activities; responsible and tracking of equipment and supplies. Will be responsible for driving a City Recreation van daily to pre-selected playground sites.
The successful candidate must be available to begin work Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00-5:00 and Friday's from 9:00-3:00. Program will start the week of June 26th and conclude the week of Aug 14th. The position has a variable hour work schedule, up to 17 hours per week. Schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.

- Possession of a valid Washington State driver's license and possible MVR request in order to drive a City vehicle for work duties

- Must successfully pass all phases of the pre-employment hiring process, including but not limited to, reference checks and a criminal background check.

Physical Demands and Working Environment: Work may be performed in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, including City facilities such as community centers, City parks, Lake Washington School District facilities and off-site locations. Work settings may involve high levels of noise, many people, adverse weather conditions, uneven terrain, standing for extended periods of time, and interruptions. Desk assignments are done at a computer terminal.
Environmental Conditions/Physical Effort: Must be comfortable driving a van to and from work site. Work is primarily performed outside at local parks in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Must be able to lift/carry at least 40lbs.
