The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans & provides professional nursing services & standards of practice in accordance with level of experience & education, state board of nursing & established policies & procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
3. Current Iowa RN license, (current IL license if working in IL) required.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
6. Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire.
7. Specialty practice certification is preferred..
8. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Duke University Hospital (DUH) campus supports a 1067 bed hospital known for expertise in Inpatient, Urgent Outpatient, OR, Interventional, ED/Trauma, PEDS, Cardiac, Oncology, and Transplant services. We have a total of 20 clinical scanners, including 14 in various locations, 5 in the OR, and 1 portable scanner for Neuro ICU. This role will primarly support our Inpatient and Emergency patients.
What you will do:
- Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
- Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
- Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards.
- Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
- Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label. Film/transmit to Image Archival System.
- Schedule patients for procedures; assist with clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies in EHR.
- Dispense and or order oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
- Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients and their families for CT scans.
- Provide education and training to student technologists.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein.
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement for contrast administration.
- Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in performance of all exam protocols.

Essential Functions:
This Program Cost Control Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
The Program Cost Control Analyst will have experience with Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will be responsible for leading and training other analysts if full level 1 Earned Value contracts.
Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include:
Establishing Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled
Assessing and maintaining of objective performance criteria – developing, maintaining, analyzing and justification of estimates to complete
Supporting internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis and budgeting baseline
Maintaining a solid and accurate cost and schedule integration with business partners and program teams
Analyzing funding, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports - Preparing government cost performance reports and preparation and/or review of Performance measurement variance analysis
Additional responsibilities will include:
Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes. Provide internal reporting requirements to include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools. This position will interface with Business Managers and support booking rate files and profitability updates. Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.

Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position, as this posting may include multiple locations and provide a variety of salary ranges per location. Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $152,200.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and colleagues self-schedule their working days.
This position is eligible for consideration of a sign on bonus, relocation assistance, and a housing stipend (dependent on location)! In addition, we offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials depending on work schedules.

About the department: RNs working in the Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) care for a variety of patients in the general departments of medical/surgical, ortho, neuro, post-partum, and telemetry. This is a great opportunity to train in various levels of acuity in the hospital. You will find a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and great opportunities for advanced training and career growth. You will not float to other Saint Alphonsus sites or to Boise Critical Care or Emergency Departments.

Demonstrates safe operation of patient care equipment.
Establishes therapeutic and professional boundaries.
Integrates knowledge, experience, professional standards and hospital policies into nursing practice.
Meets unit specific technical skills.
Practices with the rules and regulations defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
